This whole place looked like it came out of the pages of the book. Everything looked unreal. "Welcome to paradise," Arden said, kissing the back of her hand. The Resort was a gleaming paradise set atop a lush, five hundred acre beach. Cassie spotted the colorful fish flitting in the waters of the crystal clear cay. She stared just ahead, taking in the towering silhouette of the majestic mountains that encompassed the hotel. They drank in the scenery together. This was the kind of place people honey-mooned. Or where proposals are done. Or maybe where someone would ask their special person to be their girlfriend.

After we had finished, we went to the fruit part where she happily chose anything that came her way. An hour later we had 3 trolley filled up with different groceries and junk, we can't gotten to the main part yet, Clothings. La Paradise was designed mainly for Clothings, but we had another store close to La Paradise for groceries. So we both walked into the main building, where arrays of cloths were displayed, The sales rep led her to a room where she could change into any clothing of her choice, the room had a sit-in sofa where I could watch her after she dressed up.

"That's three nights at the Paradise House. I'm taking you away for a long weekend." Jessi scanned the brochure beneath the first page. The images showed a yellow Victorian two-story mansion surrounded by tropical gardens. She gasped. "Judd, this is too much." He just smiled at her. "It's your birthday, Angel." The next page was a reservation for two at a place called The Castle. Brow furrowed, Jessi read the message.

“You barely notice furniture, but now you’re monitoring staff before breakfast?” “Cass.” “That means stop.” She set the folders on the counter. “The private auction is tomorrow at the Grand Pavilion. It’s one of our biggest events this season, so everyone will help with preparations.” A gold sun marked the top folder above the words Laurent-Reed Arts Initiative. Cass tapped it. “Our family handles the resort. The Laurents handle the art. Together, we make expensive problems look elegant.” Calvin closed the folder before I could read beneath it.

“This is an agreement signed between you and Hesper Rivera. What does it have to do with me? You can’t threaten me with this.” “I guess you’re not a person of principles?” Hearing that, Hestia scoffed and picked the agreement up with no joy in her eyes. “You can go ahead and sue me with this. If the agreement is breached, the park will be mine. I don’t think you know this project very well. The income generated each month would far exceed the fine you need to pay.”

As they neared their destination, the driver began to worry as he struggled to get his flimsy vehicle to complete the final part of the trek to the small town of Paradise Pass. Paradise Pass was an eco-tourism center and full of foreigners. As was true for the beach resort, the vast majority of the Europeans in the town were Danubians. It was Trish's first chance to get a close look at the people who had kept the Island's economy going for the past five years.
