I didn't understand a word he was saying, and he was screaming. "KLAUS!!! Do you even know who Norman Cross is? I can't believe this is happening! "You're not kidding, right!!!" He asked. "First of all, calm down, sit down, and relax," I told him to stop screaming. So he did; he calmed down, or so he thought, and sat down again, and I said, "It's not a joke. I am very serious, and who, according to you, is Norman Cross?" I asked.

"My name doesn't concern you," Her next step faltered when he leaned in close, close enough for her to feel the warmth of his breath against her ear and neck, sending a sharp jolt down her spine despite her best efforts to ignore it. "It concerns me more than you think," Norman murmured, his tone edged with something dark. "I like to know the names of women who look at me like they want to kill me... or fûck me." Calla froze mid-step, her jaw tightening. She turned, just enough to glare at him, and bit out. "In your fûcking dreams,"

It's on the kitchen counter, right next to a bright red laptop that I recognize. "…leaving now. There had better be some bitches there, Ricky. Someone needs to suck me off." Norman's voice has me ducking into the kitchen and quickly flicking the light switch to shroud the room in darkness. His footsteps pound on the steps, and he walks right past the kitchen entrance. The entrance is U-shaped with two walls extending on each side. I'm curled up on the ground, on the inside part of the wall, hoping he doesn't smell my blood. Fortunately, Norman just walks out the front door, and a few minutes later, I hear the sound of his car roaring away.

Abraham's POV: Actually, I couldn't hear what Norman was saying at this moment. My ears just releasing certain words into my head as if it had self awareness. "Can't kill her" "Heart exchange operation" "Hope of surviving" "Don't kill her!" I directly issued the command without the thinking. Then, I realized what exactly Norman meant. Hannah couldn't die...... "Damn it!" I slammed into the hospital bed next to me. But I couldn't stop the irritation inside me.

Following her to the door, I cursed at my crutches and damn ankle, wishing I could do without them. “He's such an idiot. He's going to get an earful from me when he wakes up,” I said as she drove out of the compound, hot on the ambulance's trail. “All he wanted was a peaceful meeting, but he got hurt instead. You can't save everyone when you're not superman.” “Why did they take Norman?” “His blood pressure rose up due to shock.” A fresh wave of tears struck me, and I sucked in a deep breath. “So he did it for nothing, then? Him saving that despicable man was just for nothing. Two losses in one night”

He complicated my dad; petting him on the back. “Can we go now?” My Dad asked; his eyes frail and bloodshot. “Not until I check if the box is intact.” “Skylar!” He thundered “Yes boss,” answered one of his men. “Check if the box is intact.” “Okay boss.” Skylar flipped the case open; for a while he stare at it with wide eyes and the muttered, “Boss, half of the box is loaded with cool cash, while the remaining half is littered with change.”

He covered her with his blanket, kissed her forehead and then walked to the bathroom to wash up. He came out of his bathroom to see his phone ringing, it was Norman's father. "Hello sir, how is Norman doing now? Bosey asked, quietly into his phone. "He is doing fine Bosey, but we have a problem" "What is the problem sir, is Norman okay? "Norman is fine Bosey, but he is still repeating what he said before. He is still screaming, that "Jenny Lynn" wants to kill him. Now he has said identified this 'Jenny Lynn' " Norman's father replied.

"Where's Karina!" "If you want to know, you should put an effort into it, because I've been struggling to get her too," he said with his hands on his hips. Norman is like a ghost, he has a body, legs and arms, but his face is just a lump of black aura without eyes, nose, mouth or other organs like humans. "Good morning, I will be waiting for you in the mortal dimension." That sentence was a closing sentence, because after that, he disappeared perfectly, without a sound, and without a word.

"Nathan... how long is Uncle Stanley going to be here? I thought he was just staying for a few days after... after the funeral." Nathan’s eyebrows furrowed, a genuine flash of confusion crossing his face. "Why are you asking? You don't like having him around?" Norman finally looked up. His eyes were wide, reflecting the dim hallway lights. "I do, but... he’s being weird, Nathan. He’s bringing different women into Mum’s room. They’re loud, and they’re shouting. And there are these strange men coming into the house at all hours. They look like criminals. I’m scared to even go to the kitchen."

I couldn’t believe it. He had Beth poisoned and I had heard nothing about it. “How? Why? Who? Is..is he okay? This must’ve been the reason he had looked so pale.” Norman stopped as well, turning to face me. His face was tight, his eyes weary and I noticed for the first time just how much of a toll this ordeal had been taking on him. He seemed aged, more haggard than he had ever appeared. “He’s fine,” he said and continued. “He is getting better apart the poison was very bad and has set in too much now hence confusing his thoughts. He is all messed up in the head, his emotions are screwing with him like hell. He does not know what to believe.”
