The Billionaire’s Favorite Mistake

The Billionaire’s Favorite Mistake

"You’re going to ruin your eyes," I said. Damien didn't look up from the floor. He was sitting cross-legged on the rug in the center of the dark living room, the low orange glow from the gas fireplace hitting the sharp line of his jaw. Scattered around his boots were the faded manila folders we used to keep in the kitchen drawer of our flat on Rue Saint-Denis. "The Paris numbers don't add up," he said. His voice was thick, dry from hours of silence. He turned a yellowed tax receipt over, his thumb tracing the old French stamp at the top. "They never did."

The Man Who Stole My Name

The Man Who Stole My Name

Cipher's POV The mansion of D'Amato stood out like a gem in the Parisian night and every arch-window gleamed back the gold against the closely-tended lawns. The air outside, themed to a Parisian gala was already pregnant with the sounds of camera shutters and the flash of paparazzi lights. Black limos crept up the drive like mutes of prey sending off dignitaries in designer suits and glittering gowns.

BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND WIFE

BILLIONAIRE’S SECOND WIFE

The answer was written all over his face before he even said it. "I loved an illusion," he said quietly. "The version of Charlotte I thought existed. But you…" He exhaled. "You make me feel something real." The air between us shifted. My chest tightened. Before I could say anything, the door of the jet opened, and a rush of cool Parisian air swept inside. "Let’s go," Damian said. An Abandoned Chapel – Midnight The old chapel stood at the edge of the Seine, its stone walls cracked with time. Moonlight spilled through the shattered stained-glass windows, painting the floor in broken colors.

Naughty Nikki: A Billionaire Romance

Naughty Nikki: A Billionaire Romance

As he pours, he chats amiably about stats and facts I have already memorized a million times over. He leaves us to retrieve macaroons and chocolate, which I know come from Dalloyau, the world-famous French patisserie, founded in 1682. Yeah. 1682. I am speechless. Almost. Jameson and I clink rims. We sip. And I say, “This is the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I mean… You heard what I said about the movie.” “Every single word. Always.” I stare at him, completely dumbfounded and awestruck.

THE BILLIONAIRE'S AFFAIR

THE BILLIONAIRE'S AFFAIR

Part of me is afraid she’ll reveal what she said to me earlier, and I sure as hell don’t want that. Grant throws her a sideways look. “You’re welcome to stay here, but JP, Eve, and I think it’s best if we move to another location. That’s three to one.” “Oui – c’est democracy, n’est-ce pas?” JP quips. Dominique crosses her arms and just scowls. “I have une bonne idée,” JP says. “There is a place in Montmartre – Canard et Couteau? The restaurant of Marcel?” “Marcel still owns that joint?” Grant marvels. “Is he still running his fencing operation out of it?”

Look At Me, Oneil

Look At Me, Oneil

It was the seamstress Dahlia who has guided Oneil and Niana while meandering inside the shop. Dahlia recognized them as the key figures of the Mercator Group. She crossed out the though that they were here for their business and counted them the same as regular customers. Just like what her boss Steffan did upon facing Mr. Grant Mercator. On the other hand, Dahlia barely recognized Oneil and Niana's company. Dahlia knew she's familiar somewhere around the Pierre Center. When her face got clear to Dahlia, that is when Dahlia recognized that she must be the image in Jacques' wallet picture.

Betrayed Before the Vows

Betrayed Before the Vows

Beside her, Elias Thorne was cross-referencing satellite imagery with the coordinates William had whispered in the Berlin courtroom. "Rue de la Paix, Number 14," Elias said, his voice a low hum against the distant cry of seagulls. "Blue shutters, just as he said. The building is an 18th-century tenement. No back exit, but the rooftops are interconnected. If she realizes we’re coming, she’ll be over the shingles before we hit the first landing."

The Hostage (Book 2 of The Arrangement Series)

The Hostage (Book 2 of The Arrangement Series)

But Amber’s heart fluttered even quicker in her chest and she gripped onto Leo excitedly when the Eiffel Tower came into view. It stood massive, like a shiny beacon of hope rising up in the now clear night sky. Paris had never fallen to the infected. The city had remained strong and sturdy as many other cities crumbled and collapsed thirty years ago. When Variant Creutzfeldt-Jakob disease had ripped through the world killing billions and destroying thousands of years of what mankind had made within a decade. In turn, Paris symbolized so much more than love and light these days.

The Coochie Diaries

The Coochie Diaries

Chloe exhaled softly, pressing the diary against her chest for a second before shaking her head at herself. “God… women really are dangerous when we start associating intensity with desire,” she muttered under her breath. Then, after another lingering pause, she opened the diary again, turning the page carefully to read the next confession. ______ Episode 63 – The Frenchman’s Flat The City of Light was a symphony of late-summer dusk, the sky a bruised violet over slate rooftops as Claire’s taxi navigated the narrow, cobbled streets of the 7th arrondissement. Jet-lagged and pleasantly adrift, she watched the Parisian world blur past, elegant women with baguettes tucked under their arms, the w

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

Forever in the Past and Forever in the Future

“C'est de la folie! [This is lunacy!] Kas, no. You’ve gone insane,” Delilah cries and stands up from her seat when I finish telling her and Marco my plan about three hours into our flight to Paris. She paces with her hands over her mouth. Her eyes are midnight blue when she finally stops and looks at me, “No. I can’t let you do this to your soul. I won’t allow it.”

I am SO glad that I read this story/book!!! It was absolutely phenomenal from start to finish!! Such a great storyline & plot, and especially characters!! SO sad that some important characters died at the end, but I know it wasn’t Kas’s fault!! I felt “every” emotion known to man while reading it!!!

Just finished “Forever in the past and forever in the future” for the second time. Loved it as much as the first time! Kas/Lex & Bronx/Saint are great, their dynamics are wonderful. The supporting characters are amazing and a great compliment to the mains. So excited to continue on with the sequel.
