The Devil Who Bought Me

The Devil Who Bought Me

. I need something that whispers power, not shouts it. Something that draws you in, then holds you captive. if you know what I'm saying." She opened her eyes, a sudden spark of inspiration flaring within them. “Patchouli. But not the heavy, earthy kind. I want the clean, almost minty fraction. And then… oud.” Anita’s pen paused mid-stroke. “Oud? That’s a bold move. It’s expensive, and it can overpower everything else if not handled with absolute precision.” “Precision is my middle name,” Natalie retorted, a wry smile playing on her lips. She reached for a tiny, dark vial, its liquid almost black, viscous. The scent, even sealed, was potent, ancient, a whisper of distant forests and sacred ri

A Crazy Kind Of Love; The End

A Crazy Kind Of Love; The End

"It goes both ways. And thank you so much Tenor. You and your wife, you did so much for me. I'm grateful." "Anything for Simon and Paige. Can't mention him without you now." He teased. Simon clapped a hand on Tenor's back. "Thank you man, for everything." Tenor nodded. Closing his eyes, he sniffed the air. "You're wearing a fragrance made up of cinnamon, rose, clove, cardamom and coriander." He leaned closer to Paige. "There's also the slightest hint of patchouli and amber." He smiled a sensual smile. "Did you know that patchouli is considered a love potion?"

Fragrance of Memories

Fragrance of Memories

Suddenly, an idea flashed in his mind. Antoine jumped up and walked towards the towering bookshelf in the corner of the room. It was a treasure trove of invaluable formulas from Laurent Dubois, where the master perfumer had stored his secret recipes and rare essential oils, and Antoine had been fortunate enough to have access to them. "I think I’ve found what you need," he called out with a hint of excitement. Camille looked up at him, still puzzled. Antoine often surprised her, but this time, she was genuinely curious. Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Spoiled by Mr. Russell

Lily walked in front of her and sat down across from her. "You are?" The girl raised her head and gave her a puzzled look. "Sorry, I overheard the game." Lily shrugged and leaned forward. "Can I…smell this?" The girl stared at Lily hesitantly, with her gaze that was filled with vigilance. However, Lily couldn't care less about that. She was more interested in the thing on the table. She knew that everything in nature had its unique scent. Every plant and every tree could be used as raw materials when it came to perfume making. However, some might be ordinary, while some were special. Some were easy to extract, and others would take a longer time.

How many chapters will this book have I have already spent $40.00 and that could have bought a whole novel. The book is good but it doesn’t need to carry on forever!!! What is the last chapter? I wouldn’t have started reading it had I known it wasn’t complete. This disappoints me greatly!!!

I would like to give my opinion on when his eyes open…… the book is great to read, but I feel like I pay to read that’s okay, but now it’s like the chapters is getting shorter, I don’t want to start on another story when I did not finish the first one. Please let me finish reading this book.

Winter Flower: Bloom for the Alpha

Winter Flower: Bloom for the Alpha

They took another right, and this time, there were no servants in sight. “What was that smell? It’s weird,” Ainar replied, looking back to where they just came from. “You mean the Patchouli?” Ainar looked at him, puzzled. “Patchouli?” “Yeah,” Gavin nodded, looking ahead to watch his steps. “It’s an oil from a plant called Patchouli. Hunters in my old pack used to apply it to their scent glands to conceal their scents while hunting. It makes it difficult for preys to locate them since it makes them smell like the forest.”

The Scent of Neroli

The Scent of Neroli

It was as close to something she could not name and yet it wasn’t. Oranges. She learned to eat them a lot until her guts hurt. Some books she read said orange is a sign of marriage and so it was. But what of it. She learned to sprout the seeds and bury them beneath the soil. Some grew and bore fruits and flowers. Strangely, she climbed the tree one day and picked a flower, crushed it within the palm of her hand and inhaled it. The scent of Neroli never left her from that time on. She grew up learning the art of perfumery, realizing she had the nose for distinguishing the seven different types of smell. She started buying little vials of perfume and mixing them up to create a new scent and ha
