Patroclus and the horse looked disinterested even as they froze to a spot without a stir. ''Move, Patroclus, move!'' Gaius shouted at the top of his voice, aiming to drive action into his soldier. ''The horse wouldn't move, sire!'' Patroclus informed, shouting back at the top his voice. In a wink of an eye, the horse that had come to a halt suddenly broke down and collapsed, throwing Patroclus off to the ground. Patroclus tended to the horse's broken leg afterwards. The horse could no longer move, and it looked as though it had been subjected to agony and torture.

Lost to Time

Lost to Time

Braxius states confidently. "Please be safe and don't do anything stupid," I plead. Then, giving me a kiss on top of my head, Braxius backs away from me and turns. "Please come back to me," I whisper softly. The palace was filled with news throughout the day, eventually reaching us servants. There was a skirmish with the Greeks led by the fearsome Achilles, and many Trojans died under Achilles' sword. All I can do is wait to hear the fate of Braxius.

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

The Un-Stereotypical Life of A Prince and A Heiress

"Be careful, Ria." Cryx and I, and the others have our own codes basing on Greek and Roman Mythology. Right now, I based it on the glory of Greece, the Illiad by Homer. The Battle between the Acaeans (Greeks) and the Trojans. During their conquer of Chryse, a town allied with Troy, the Greeks captured Chryseis and Briseis. Agamemnon took Chryseis as his crowning glory while Achilles took Briseis. When Chryseis' father learned of this, he offered a magnanimous sacrifice to the god Apollo for his daughter's safe return. Agamemnon then conspired to take Briseis away from Achilles and offer her as remuneration. This will allow Cryx to decipher that there is danger nearby and they plan to take Br

Red Rover

Red Rover

It’ll flow down the bond to JoJo—and to Jacob. Odysseus calls back to us. “Come, friends. We’ve arrived.” Alexander can walk now, thanks to the energy flowing into him. It’s awkward—six people walking while touching him—but no one lets go. Not until JoJo is safe. At the second gate, another Hecatonchire stands guard. He looks like Briareus, just slightly smaller. Their conversation is thunderous, but limited to their uppermost heads. Odysseus explains, “That is Gyges, the middle brother. He’s not the brightest and more of a follower. He’ll do as Briareus tells him.”

The Pinnacle of Life

The Pinnacle of Life

“Release my son, Patroclus Mooncrate. Since you can write, I will only break your left arm and spare your right arm. Follow me in the future, and I will teach you how to write.” “Uh—” Alex said, “I’m afraid I’m powerless about that! In fact, Patroclus and I aren’t enemies! We are friends! When Patroclus heard that the Undying Clan would invade the border again soon, he took the lead and requested to defend the border. He has already departed by now, and I have no way to go after him.” Mooncrate’s expression changed. “He went to defend against the Undying Clan? Where is he? Take me there!”

I would love to have a no ending novel. But what we can expect. There will always be an ending. I think there will be a new story that will open on the last chapter whereas turn out to be Alex knows what will happen on his future. I wish the author continue like that… Thanks for this. Worth it…!!!!

i thought he'd be successful going and dominating the chi universe after obtaining the fiend lord's memories and start story with Zendaya... it would have been better if the diffracted universe had not been destroyed and he finally gets to live a peaceful life after all these........ But I loved it.

Athena

Athena

He was happy, nonetheless. “Will you stay?” he held her arm, begging silently with his eyes. Those green eyes that reflected the light of the forest were dim now like the autumn leaves after the first frost. She obeyed, giving in. Perhaps in some other lifetime, she would’ve refused him, screamed at him, asking to face his battles alone, but somehow in this one, she couldn’t. Despite the war between her mind and heart, she wanted to follow him. She wanted to follow him like Patroclus followed Achilles to Troy, and everyone knows how that story ended.

The Loyal Spartan

The Loyal Spartan

It was the voice of a man who cared deeply and fiercely about another. I looked at him, really looked at him, and saw the truth of it in his eyes. He saw himself in Androkles, a reflection of his own past, his own pain, his own capacity for love and loss. And he was terrified for the boy, not because of the prophecy or the danger, but because he knew the cost of caring, the price of love in a city that fed on weakness.

The Destroyer

I wasn't even sure my heart was beating. "Androkles?" She asked, unsure. Then her eyes widened. Her hand withdrew from mine, and she held both hands to her chest in shock. It had all finally clicked in her mind. The same Androkles Olympians whispered about and a name she probably heard more than once since arriving in the capital, often in distaste or fear. I'm Androkles, son of Nikos, son of the previous Lord Zeus, heir to Ares, the Destroyer.

A very good read but the ending was suddenly abrupt. After not having an update for longer than normal, I came to check the comments to see if others were clamoring for updates only to see that the story status now said completed. That said, I hope to see other stories set in this world.

What a brilliant and enjoyable read. Fantastic characters, great storyline, definitely a book I could not put down and would happily keep reading if there were more chapters! Looking forward to reading a sequel very soon in the future, thank you author!

Forbidden Mates - A Fight For Love (Overpowered Series)

“My daughter doesn’t want them. She wants you. After everything I have done for you, I expect you to return the favor now when I need your help, Leandros.” “I am indebted to you, Alpha, but this is too high a price for me. I can give you anything else but this.” I hadn’t forgotten the way he had saved me years ago on the battlefield. King Iliad had joined hands with Aromania and we had fought the destructive ruler of Argyle in neighboring Albania. I was critically injured, and it was King Iliad who had rescued me that night. He brought me to his kingdom and nursed me back to health. That was how I met Dimitra!
