"How are you sure it won't eat me? It's a wolf! It's so big!" "That's Mudi." "What?" He sat properly trying to calm down. Mudi put his paw onto Holland's thigh. He flinched but remained calm. "What do you mean?" He stared at the big paw on his thigh. He slowly put his hand onto the paw.

Her body was frozen. Cassidy had fainted and she was bleeding from her nose, her ears, and to make matters worse. Our pups had shifted, and are now growling at me. GIA’S POV The small wagging tail was perhaps the most obvious proof of how happy the little creature was to see Vincenzo’s mother. Yes—there was a dog. And I knew the breed immediately. A Chow Chow. Its fluffy fur looked like a living cloud, its round face almost disappearing beneath the thick golden coat. The tiny tail curled proudly over its back as it wagged with excitement. “Oh, baby girl! How is my dear Cupcake doing?” Vincenzo’s mother cooed lovingly, her voice filled with affection.

The little girl was crying immensely, giving away the dog she always wanted. “Grace,” I hear Katherine say as she opens the door behind me. I am sitting on the floor playing with the puppy. I am almost done here. I fed all the dogs and took a few for a walk in the park and now I am sitting here enjoying this little one’s company. “He will be adopted in no time. People always want a puppy,” she says and I nod. I look around the room and find Crow. Crow is my favorite dog. He is a rottweiler, and he is only four years old. His fur is jet black and his eyes are light brown. As soon as his eyes connect with mine, he barks and his tale starts moving.

The past 2 chapters were short, as I mentioned it was because I was taking care of my sick puppy. He’s definitely doing much better now :). I’m so happy. Finding a good vet is really difficult :( and I was guided wrongly which made him even more sick ! Thankfully he’s doing much better now just wanted to give an update if anyone was interested.
