Hawktalon let out a huff of frustration before leaving the den, his tail swatting Flamestrike against the cheek in the process. He shot a cold look after the deputy as he left. "Now, why don't you tell me the truth?" Petalstar suggested once he was gone. "Have you ever heard of a Clan called SkyClan?" Flamestrike asked after trying to calm himself down. He was still on edge after what had happened earlier. Petalstar's eyes widened in disbelief at the mention of a Clan that hardly any cat heard about.

Little Osiris is huddled in his mother's arms, trying to hide his little face from the angry mob threatening to kill them. "I tell you what," the Alpha finally smirks. "I will give you a head start." Skye doesn't need to be told twice. She takes off, running toward the forest. As she runs, her body morphs and shifts. I try to keep up with her, but she is too fast. The last I see is a golden lycan running away from the mob. Osiris's little face is peering over her shoulder, watching his home fade into the distance.

Posey watches her like she’s being stalked by something threatening, and for a moment, I wonder if I should intervene, to rein the powerful little girl in by calling out her name and mentioning that her great-grandfather is willing to make her another complicated pancake, possibly in the shape of the elusive Solstice Wolf, which would undoubtedly chap Isaac’s ass, but then Skye reaches out and runs her fingers over the leather satchel draped over Posey’s shoulder. “Do you want to see it?” Posey asks, her forest-green eyes taking in Skye’s dark hair and high cheekbones. "That," I pointed at her chest and noticed a petal pattern. "Oh this, this is nothing. This girl must have got this tattoo," she said, referring to Ella. Alec noticed the odd behavior of Skye, and even Freya's brows scrunched together when she noticed the mark, and her eyes turned into a hawk as she stared at Skye with a questioning face.

My little mate and I go back to the house after a short while, when Skye’s stomach starts demanding food quite loudly, causing a delicious redness adorn her cheeks. “Did you calm down a little?” Mom asks without taking her eyes off the food she’s making. “Skylar, are you alright?” Brian sounds worried. “I’m fine. It just shocked me and I kind of freaked out.” Skye admits quietly, smiling at her father. It really warms my heart to see their relationship improve so quickly. I’m happy to know that Brian is my mate’s father and not that fucker that kept her in the mine. The Alpha of the Crescent Moon Pack seems like a decent man and clearly cares about his daughter.

To fuel her even more, Seb lifted his big hand that Harper was playing with together with hers and kissed her hand knowing fully that Scar was watching. Scar couldn't bear it so she stormed out of the Hotel with Skye trailing behind her, Seb couldn't help but smirk at her reaction. Skye ultimately caught up with her, "Slow down there tigress." His face held a warm smile as usual and he showed his pearly white teeth. Scar playfully nudged him, "I am not a tigress, do I have fur and a tail." "Of course not, but you have the speed and temper of one," Skye then held out his hand for her to take, "Let me take you home."
