We are natural predators, existing for wicked purposes only. It took me a long time to accept that I don’t have to lean into my true nature. That fighting it is far more rewarding. Resisting being an Immortal Sin keeps me alive. I see the restraint glimmering in Larsen. He wants to taunt her, play with her. Larsen is revered where he is from, but boredom plagues him as it does me. But he will not entertain himself with Vaela. I won’t allow it. “She’s easy to look at.” He swirls the liquid around his cup, entranced.

I diverted my attention, elsewhere, afraid to vomit because of the guy who is bluntly flirting with a spirit. I saw a Spirit wearing a brown armor-looking suit with black highlights. He is probably the spirit of earth. The spirit is floating in front of a girl, a shy looking girl. She has eyeglasses and a few bruises on her arms. The girl is looking up to the spirit with an awkward smile, more awkward than the smile I was flashing a while back. The Spirit is smiling as he look down on her, both are not talking.

"I knew you'd come back, because that's your destiny, goblin, isn't it?" That spirit spoke to me with an overbearing attitude that made me extremely angry. I quickly grabbed the spirit's neck with my hand and made it cough. “Stop talking nonsense, Watson. If you have something to say, say it, or I'll have to come back!" “This place was once a chaotic battle, everything is now as calm as if there had never been a war.”

I reply, turning to face the spirit. The spirit is wearing a half black mask, but I swear I know this spirit. The spirit chuckles as if my words are funny. I don’t have time for games. I want to end this as quickly as possible because whoever lives here might be back any second now, and I don’t want to be caught here. I raise my war scythe and bring it to full size as I strike the spirit in the chest, but to my dismay and surprise, I can’t reap the spirit's soul. What the hell!

It lunged forward, its claws pointed straight at Lisa. “Lisa!” Dominick’s voice cracked, but it was too late. Lisa felt the spirit’s attack hit her, a hot force blasting through her chest, but she didn’t flinch. She couldn’t. She pushed the relic’s energy deeper into the spirit, pouring every last bit of her strength into it. The light burst outwards, wrapping around the spirit, encasing it in a cage of pure energy. The beast roared in anger, its form dissolving bit by bit until there was nothing left. The door slammed shut with a final, thunderous boom.

With resolute hearts and blazing spirits, they readied themselves to face their ultimate foe in a fierce confrontation that would determine the fate of The Enchanted Realm. But as the battle reached its climactic peak, a blinding flash of light illuminated the scene. Amidst the smoke and dust of the battle, they beheld the emergence of a mysterious figure, an imposing presence that demanded attention.

I am Zeiah, I grew up thinking that everybody around me is ordinary and I am like them, but that's what I thought. I remembered everything, from the growl of that notorious creature, the slashing of the swords, and the explosion, all of it was clear. I close my eyes, quivering into the ideas which my mind could only bear. How I wish everything were just a nightmare. I let out a deep breath and found myself in the middle of nowhere.

They reminded her of a thousand snakes in a pit, fighting to get at a meal in the middle. Her mind's eye swarmed with images and sounds. Images of hanging corpses..... Sounds of crying babies..... Images of thick fire..... Sounds of screaming people. Images of skin being separated from bone. The sickening sound of it all...... Esmeralda was right. The Fourth spirit was a beast unequivocally matched. She forced herself to look away. 'Are you okay, Bella?' She looked up at Andreas and nodded. Stopping a few feet away from them, the Fourth spirit and his army stared them down.

From the stones, from the fog, from the broken cracks beneath our feet. “You speak with such hope, Alpha,” Berra mocked. “But hope will only make the fall harder.” Spirits rose from the ground in front of us. First one, then five, then ten. They looked like wolves made of smoke, their eyes glowing red, their teeth sharp as knives. I pushed Prese behind me and let my claws slide out. “Stay back, Prese. Don’t move.” The first spirit wolf lunged. I ripped it apart with one strike. Smoke burst into the air, but more rushed forward. My claws slashed, my fangs tore, but each time one disappeared, another rose.

I close my eyes and take a deep breath. He's just rage-baiting, Nova. This place is just trying to get to you. But you're strong. You'll not fall for this—your survival depends on it. "Really? Do those pep talks still work for you?" "What do you want from me... Why are you here?" I ask. I might as well start trying to figure out what this task is, since my spirit guide thinks I'm not worthy of his time when I'm not at the brink of death.
