To which Micaela blushed and began digging into the food. Once they were done, both saunter to the flower shop which was beside the jewellery shop. “How much are these peonies?” Micaela lingered her fingers over the petals of the soft white peonies. Carefully she picked one from the stem and brought it near her nose and drag a deep breath inhaling the sweet scent. It smelled refreshing. Sweet.

As it rose, it began to blossom into a magnificent flower, its petals shimmering with a a superior glow of rainbow colours, reflecting all over the water droplets. The dragons gasped in awe, their eyes fixed on the magnificent spectacle before them. "It is the Crystal Petal Flower. A rare and magical plant that blooms only once in a million years." Master announced as the crowd turned their heads towards him. The crowd parted as he made his way forward, walking solemnly towards the spot of the miracle.

(JARED’S POV.) I stopped by a flower shop on my way to the restaurant. Thankfully, the storekeeper was a friendly middle-aged lady. She took me through the large shop, showing me different flowers sticking out of fancy flowerpots. The place was designed to have an infinity garden theme—it felt like a walk in paradise, with all the smells and sounds. There was a deer statue in one end and a flowing water fountain from which fishes jumped into the air on the other. A squirrel sat on a rubber tree statue in the far corner, while a bunny stuck its head out of a log somewhere else. I let my awe of the place cover up for the fact that I didn’t know what flower to get Keira.

“If there’s nothing else, I will not disturb you further.” They were already moving past when Cassandra’s voice called sharply, “Hold on!” Elena paused.
