Saved By the Alpha

Saved By the Alpha

I watch as Penelope peeks her head in and holds up her book as she questions, “Do you mind if I read in here now?” I shake my head no and begin to smile as I remember the book with the seductive cover that she had earlier. I try to hide my smile as I say, “Of course not. Come on in, Penelope.” She smiles as she walks in and I try not to stare, but her new outfit fits her perfectly. She wore a white lace romper that had a halter top, and her black curls were brushed toward the right side of her face.

The Beta's Mate

The Beta's Mate

I pick her up from the ground and hold her in the air with her feet dangling. She simply laughs at my anger. “Do you think the warlock has only one place he is hiding? He is always hiding in plain sight,” Penelope says as she coughs trying to get a breath of air. I toss her against the wall, and she slides down with a smile on her face. “You are all so naïve. You think you are protected. You were never protected,” she says.

Guys! Read this story!!! All of Ellie’s stories are amazing! They pull you in, they’re well written and they have characters that you both love and love to hate. You can’t go wrong with this story, or any of them really!

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. I’ve read 5 other books by this author and this is my favorite. Her writing pulls you in. The characters will frustrate you, make you laugh and cry. The plot is full of surprises and suspense, redemption and healing. Highly recommend. Read Healing Powers first.

A Wedding Vow of Vengeance

A Wedding Vow of Vengeance

Words that made Penelope collapse to her knees. Words that made Ava cry out in terror. Words that revealed the true price of Penelope's oath. Because the shares weren't just about money or power. They were about something far more dangerous. Something that had been hidden in plain sight for years. And as the words continued to appear, one thing became terrifyingly clear: Penelope hadn't just sworn away her claim to the shares. She'd sworn away the only thing keeping them all safe. The blue light pulsed once more. And then...

Voices in the Ward

Voices in the Ward

"I don't know what you're talking about! Let go of me!" "Stop pretending!" Cheryl shouted even louder. "I heard you last week, hiding in the stairwell on the phone, complaining that Dr. Strickland was always holding you back and giving you all the heavy work. After what happened today, I'm sure you did it on purpose!" The moment she said that, the entire ward exploded. "No wonder! I knew something felt off about her. An intern who doesn't focus on learning medicine, always whispering around the ward and running her mouth about the attending. What was she even trying to do?"

Paper Widow

Paper Widow

“They say there’s trouble with the Indians south of here.” “That’s going to make what I suggest more difficult,” Nate said with a slow shake of his head. “You got new plans?” Joseph asked. “Where’s Sullivan?” Nate asked as he looked around the empty saloon. “I want him here when I tell about it.” “He managed to find a proper young lady named Penelope Wilson. She lives back east, but is here visiting. They’re on a picnic,” Joseph said with a chuckled. “What about Alice?” Nate asked with surprise.
