Rejected By Alpha Rayne

another maid said silently as they walked past Selene and Penelope after bowing their heads. “I thought she would be working with us after being sent down by the Luna.” “Maybe the king has taken a liking to her.” Selene heard some of their conversations, but she knew more than anyone that this gossip was normal and would eventually occur in the palace. She raised her chin high as she walked towards the library entrance. The smell of books hit her nostrils when she got into the library. Penelope closed the door behind Selene and stood outside the library. Selene smiled when she saw rows of books arranged on the shelf. She began to look at different books. Some were about werewolves, and some

Until I Wrote Him

Until I Wrote Him

“Penelope.” But the girl was far gone, too intoxicated by her fangirl high. “I can’t believe this! I mean, I’ve read every one of your books , like, a hundred times. I memorized the dialogue of Crimson Shadows. Don’t even get me started on your main character’s monologue in Velvet Lies, oh my God, the way you crafted that line? Literal chills. Literal chills. And your artistry in…” Her words poured out in rapid-fire, unstoppable, each sentence crashing over the last.

Captivated By My Wolfless Mate

Captivated By My Wolfless Mate

I sent the text, tucked my phone back into my pocket and went in search of Penelope. Finally! I can have her to myself. I roamed the long, barren corridors of the prison, peering into each cell as I passed, but Penelope was nowhere to be found. I followed her scent, a faint trail of lavender that led me to the prison yard. As I stepped outside, the fresh air filled my lungs, but my relief was short-lived. In the center of the yard, I saw Penelope standing alone, her back to me. She was staring at something in the distance, her shoulders hunched and her head bowed. She looked defeated, her usual strength and resilience nowhere to be found.

How often is this book updated? It’s marked as ongoing and as I see, last time was updated on the 15th May… I just started it and I am already at chapter 45, I hate to invest in books that are not finished….

A Substituted Bride But A Fated Luna

A Substituted Bride But A Fated Luna

She always defended me in front of outsiders, never hurt me. I felt hot tears running down my cheeks. There was a knock on the door, and Penelope stopped giving me a hard time. She immediately stopped her actions, took a step back, and kept her distance from me. The maid's voice was at the door, and I didn't even know if she had heard my conversation with Penelope. "Miss Wilson, Miss Taylor, dinner is ready. Please come down and eat." Turns out Penelope's family name is Wilson. "I know," said Penelope, tidying up her blonde curls and tight, ruffled rose-colored dress. She opened the locked door and was ready to leave.

Puzzled Hearts (Book 3 of Precious Series)

Puzzled Hearts (Book 3 of Precious Series)

Holding tightly to her mother’s hand, Eliza started “Mama, again I would like to apologize to you and to you all of my folly when I was younger. You prided yourself on my being a sensible girl but I failed you when I fell for the despicable charms of two vain young women. Their tricks led me to a situation that nearly destroyed me. They brought me to a wedding where a predator of young children was attending and left me to fend for myself if not for Aunt Rosa shielding me. One day while walking home to school, he stalked me and almost cornered me and God knows what could have happened if my brother did not arrive on time. Only Aunt Rosa and godmother Claudia knew of this, but please do not b

Penelope

Penelope

Maybe she's copping onto him. My mom and Jack were getting on well together, laughing and chatting while standing in the garden having some wine. My father on the other hand seemed to be avoiding him like the plague since I introduced them a couple of hours ago. He didn't like him — that much was clear. I turned my head when I heard Penelope's laugh. She was looking cute in a little white lace sundress and matching hat. She was happy — probably happiest the most when she had his attention.

When you have to wait for long periods of time to read 1 short chapter it takes away from the enjoyment of reading the book. By the time a new chapter comes out, I have forgotten the other short chapters.

If Jamie is killed off in this storyline then what's the point. She's the fantastic female character that you want to know what going to happen between her & Mason. She's been through enough, now this tragic scenario ... happens. Come on now give her a HAPPY ENDING.

The Awakening

The Awakening

Ava's POV The first thing I felt was weight. Not the kind that pressed on my chest from nightmares, but a heavy stillness that seemed to stretch through my bones and muscles, like I had been asleep for years. My eyelids fought against the faint stream of sunlight filtering in through the curtains, but when I finally managed to open them, the room swam into focus. I was in my bed. My room. The familiar carved headboard above me, the heavy quilt drawn to my waist, the scent of lavender candles long burned out. My breath came shallow, weak, as if I had only just clawed my way back from drowning.

Eliza: The Awakening (Book 1)

Eliza: The Awakening (Book 1)

Sucking in air in a way that threatened to close his windpipe while jerking his hand back from her grasp with shock, Oliver choked out, “Eliza?” “In the flesh,” she humorously replied. “How? Why?” he asked. “She’s a wolf, brother,” Richard eagerly volunteered. “Who knew?” “I sure didn’t,” she interjected. “You’re a wolf?” Oliver repeated. “A wolf like Richard?” “She’s just as beautiful as a wolf as she is a woman,” Richard said with admiration. “And fierce! You should have seen how she defended her father.” “I barely remember that,” she complained. “Time will make the shifting easer,” Richard assured her. “You’ll eventually not only remember everything, but you’ll look forward to the shift

Save the Tears for Someone Who Cares

Save the Tears for Someone Who Cares

She'd finally carved out a place for herself at Lloyd Manor, and now Eugene was ready to dump her the second Jacklyn showed up. Penelope's eyes burned with resentment, but she knew better than to confront Eugene head-on. Just as she lifted her head and caught sight of Harriet in the distance, someone announced, "We've got the face-off between the second and third female leads coming up. "Wardrobe, make sure everything's on point. We can't afford any slip-ups." Penelope's eyes flickered at the words. She stood, slipped off the coat draped over her shoulders, and made her way calmly to Richard's side.
