It just quieted, until it became something softer, harder to recognize. A week into my solitude, a small package arrived at my doorstep. No sender’s name, just my address written neatly across the front. Inside was a fountain pen. The same kind I lost years ago, the same brand Joaquin once said was his favorite. There was no note. No explanation. But I didn’t need one. I knew it was from him. And that tiny gesture undid me more than any apology could have. That night, I sat at my desk, staring at the blank page on my screen. My fingers hovered over the keys. The cursor blinked, waiting.

Keller's hungry eyes on her pert bottom. Penny was only eighteen, still at school and only worked for the middle-aged obese Mr. Keller on Saturdays to make a little bit of extra money which she mostly spent on clothes and music. "The bags I bought you… The car I gave you… The apartment downtown… Weren't those enough to cover your debts? Vivian's voice turned sharp and hysterical. "This is absurd! Did she ever ask for my opinion before making these decisions?" As he was losing himself in his painful thoughts, he suddenly caught sight of a phone left beside the easel. It was an old phone I had left behind. When he saw it, Bruno grabbed it in desperation. He quickly entered his birthday when it asked for a passcode. Miraculously, the phone unlocked the next moment. When the screen lit up, a flash of relief appeared in Bruno's eyes. "Thank goodness she didn't change the password. So maybe she's just playing hard to get?" he muttered to himself.

Emily frowned and said, "Leo, do you still remember what I told you? You need to be generous with Adam." Leonardo still stubbornly refused. Emily's tone turned colder. "Leo, give the toy to Adam." Meanwhile, Adam came over and tried to snatch the toy away as if he had been given permission. Then Adam lost his footing while trying to take the toy and fell to the floor, where he started crying on the spot. Emily went livid and she shoved Leonardo. "Leonardo! Why are you so disobedient today? It's just a toy! What's wrong with giving it to Adam?!"
