The Thing POV I'm back in Victor's room, sitting at the table with the tablet in front of me. This Percy Jackson book is really interesting. I know it's fantasy. After all, although the Gods exist, they're not as described in the book. Humans are very creative, besides, focusing on the story helps me forget where I am and now it's my favorite place, inside a book. Instinctively I feel Soren approaching, by his smell and he sits down next to me, I know he's watching me read, it seems to be his favorite thing. His expression of adoration seems sincere.

Teleporting herself inside the cave, she looked at the large dirty blue-colored book that had violet orbs embedded on it, and couldn't help but open it to write what she saw today. It was a book she had been trying to find ever since she lost it. It was the future depicting book of the witches that would vaguely tell about their future.

It bled through the arched windows of the Hall of Elements, turning the runes carved into the stone desks into veins of gold. Layla hesitated at the threshold. She wondered if she were losing her mind. Was this some sort of practical joke? Some sort of fantasy she’d had as a young girl? What was it doing here? How did her grandmother have it? And why was she only drawn to open it now, at this time?

The intense pressure has me gasping for air but I fight the urge to submit to him by releasing my own dominance. Valdis rears his head back and blasts me with fire only for Flavius to run in front of me. I begin to panic, reaching out for Flavius until I notice that he is absorbing my father's magic into his body. Flavius stands in front of me, engulfed in burning red flames. After numerous attacks from us, I noticed Percy from above, in the air, doing something weird on his hand, like he was doing a ritual or something until he spread his arms and a fire suddenly encircled in the place, the woods was flaming in a blaze and the surroundings started getting warmer as my sweat dripped more on my skin. The forest was burning in hell and the smoke was suffocating. I took a deep breath, getting myself immune to the blaze around us. The trees were being burned and it shivered everybody else more. I couldn't figure out what Percy wants from me but maybe— maybe I

His mouth formed an ‘O’ as he processed the information. “But it’s nothing like holding a book in your hand and getting lost in an adventure or romance novel.” I joked. “Oh, I have a few books if you want to pick some out and take them with you. For the journey.” “Really? That would be great!” I clapped my hands together in excitement about what new tales I could delve into. I ended up picking out three books. One was about a treasure hunt, the second was a collection of romance stories from around the realm based on Alpha’s finding their mates, and the third was based on historical figures and their relationships to their gods.
