“It should be a sin for you to wear that dress outside of this room,” Chaos growled, his eyes dark with lust. “I don’t know.... I think I might wear it again next weekend.” Chaos was against me in a flash, wings exploding from his back as he wrapped them around me, and clawed the dress into tiny shreds, “Never. Again,” he nipped my earlobe. Scraps of shiny black fabric fell at my feet, “I think I like this outfit much better,” Chaos tilted my face to his, winking. His eyes followed my tongue as it darted out to moisten my suddenly dry lips.

Lucas hauled me over the window, and we both collapsed onto the floor of the bedchamber. I scrambled away from him immediately, dragging myself backward until my spine hit the foot of the bed. My whole body was shaking uncontrollably, and tears pricked at the corners of my eyes. Yet anger was burning right through the terror. Lucas was standing a few feet away, staring at his hands in a daze, breathing heavily. "You crazy jerk," I screamed at him, scrambling to my feet. I lunged forward, intending to grab him by the collar and beat some sense into him, but the moment my hand touched his shirt, I froze.

She whipped her rainbowed braids around and bent over while I hurriedly walked away. I forced my way through the crowd without caring who I stepped on, pushed away or ruined their dance. Most people I offended on my way out screamed curses at me, the others just hissed. I didn’t care, I wasn't in the mood to apologize to anyone. My thoughts whirled around in my head and it felt like I was about to go insane. I hurried past the bar, my eyes met those of the Bartender and there was a glow in his eyes I hadn’t noticed before.

Emorie glanced at me, “Okay now you’re starting to scare me. You really know nothing about our world, did you? Cormac Graves?
