It would take him a while to get up and prepare to go to work. Today as he lay on the floor waiting for his body to recover he remembered Nora’s words. She had said that he had to much power, which he did notice the last few days. Something about him was different since he came out of that well. He was capable of doing things he couldn’t before. That he realized one night when he woke up from his nightmare feeling as if he was being choked. He had wished to go outside to get some air and suddenly by some unknown force he found himself outside. How that was possible he still couldn’t comprehend, but he did enjoy his new power. Or should he say powers? Because there were other things he discov

He chuckled, "Were you talking to Mike? Did you spill our secret?" Luke was undeniably striking. At school, he was an iceberg, cold and untouchable. But in private, he was warm and almost clingy. In the past, I'd have melted into his arms, blushing. Now I just stepped back, creating distance. "Didn't you want to keep us hidden?" I muttered. His eyes flickered as he caught the edge of my tone. Still, he pressed on with the question that always lingered. "You know we can't go public."

At the bottom, she recognized another sigil—the same one engraved on the pendant of her Gorgon amulet. “This thing burns like a bitch whenever we’re about to say something we’re not allowed to.” Arah mentally replayed what he’d just said. “You said something about being here only to fly. Is that your ability?” “Nuh-uh,” Zylas muttered with a wide wave of his hand. “Not getting into that again.” He quickly turned his back and resumed chopping onions, humming a tune she didn’t recognize. Arah finished washing the vegetables, her mind turning over the slip Zylas had made. If flying was his ability, why was the coven keeping it under wraps? It didn’t seem like something that needed to be a heavi

Hence why Dad has always been so secretive, because he doesn’t want the attention on us. Well, that is, until I hit eighteen and the court saw my power. There’s nothing in my personality that they like, but it’s that power that Dad does not want gone from his grasp. I’ve kept some extents of my abilities a secret to even Dad. she said disappearing. Amy kept admiring the chameleons. She learned that they had the ability to camouflage themselves, according to their feelings or due to psychological conditions like finding mate or encountering a rival. She remembered herself blushing at the bus and laughed a bit thinking she might as well be a chameleon too. She found them fascinating. Her thoughts were interrupted by someone unexpected. "Hey Wilkes, I wanted to know how you are feeling after the PE incident the other day. " Jonah asked whispering in her ear.

Fallon POV Grace and a strange-looking bald man took me from my home. I hope Ryan is okay. I know Grace put a spell on him and me. I am supposed to be so powerful, but I cannot protect myself or my home. What good am I as a reaper? "You still haven't tapped into all of your power. That is why you are weak," a voice growls at me. I hear drops of water hitting metal. I look, hoping the ancestors are coming to rescue me, but it is water pouring in from above me. I am underground. That is why it is so cold.

Things just kept happening. “So, what can Jacob do, Can Penny do anything else other than teleport?” Alpha Dillion asked daddy. We all agree that we weren’t going to tell anyone about the mind reading or visions. The Y boys didn’t even know about that. They only knew about the teleporting and Jacob’s strength and healing abilities, and that was what we were going to show them next. But we were going to go outside to do this. Jacob strength got way more impressive as he trained. Seems like the longer we got to know our gifts the better they got. Kind of like fine tuning them.

"But I’m not the same as other wolves. Since you're my daughter, you’re probably not the same as everyone else too.” I was confused. What? “Ever since I was young, I’ve always thought that I was different. I felt different, per se. I could lift the same weight as my trainers when I was in grade school. I could answer college questions when I was in middle school. I had strong senses and noticed things that other people couldn’t. I just felt like nobody understood my strength.” “Have you ever heard of… Lycans?” He started off. I was startled by his sudden question.

Does that mean it is working? A few days ago, I discovered that the notions about half-breeds were true. The fact that we possess gifted abilities that could most possibly ruin the werewolf territory became a realization in me. A realization that I became aware of when I began to exude an energy way beyond my comprehension. It first started with the strange mind reading, then to perfecting the ability to go through anything like Monica. A few days later, and I’ve added another ability to the radar — the power to be unseen which is otherwise known as invisibility.

"You weren't supposed to come back. But you did. And that triggered something early." "Triggered what?" "Your abilities." His voice dropped. "They're still dormant. But they're waking up. Faster than they should. And when they fully surface, you won't just remember the past. You'll see." "See what?" "The future. The present. Things people hide. Cracks in the world normal eyes can't perceive." He paused. "And everyone who knows what you are will want to use you. Or destroy you." I forced myself to breathe. "That's not possible."
