"Damn, looks like they left in a hurry," Percival said, pulling his T-shirt up over his nose. I glanced around at the table, still littered with remnants from a casual pig roast—just a few bones, some rotting fruit, and metal bowls with gunk stuck to them. Some chalices were upright, while others had tipped over, leaving crimson stains on the old tablecloth. Chairs were scattered around, some tipped over. It was clear animals had a feast here, and I was surprised so much evidence was still lying around after all this time.
