I don't recognize him, but he's tall, with dark blonde hair, and he looks vaguely familiar. "Can I help you?" I ask. He pushes his glasses up the bridge of his nose. "I'm Percy. The headmaster wants to see you." My mouth goes dry. "He... he does?" The boy nods. "Can you come with me, please? I'm supposed to escort you to his office." I hesitate. "Do you know why?" He shrugs. "I don't ask questions." And I don't have time to think about it, because he's already headed down the hall.
