Past Thomas looks down, hearing something drop in front of him. His eyes widen as he sees a woman--a gorgeous woman with lovely green eyes and blonde hair. He quickly moves to help her off the ground but he can’t keep his eyes off her. He’s never seen someone as beautiful before. She looks like a goddess, glowing with unexplainable beauty as she stands before him.

He did not open his arms and brace or crouch or make any of the preparatory adjustments that most people made when a small person was moving at speed in their direction. He simply held his ground. She reached him. He caught her. One arm. Clean. Certain. The specific practiced ease of a man who had been catching this particular small person for four and a half years and had developed the technique appropriate to her specific trajectory and velocity. He held her against his chest. She wrapped her arms around his neck with the complete conviction of someone who had arrived exactly where she intended to arrive. He looked across the floor. At me. Slower this time. The phone slipping, Alex's hands reaching down to grab it, fumbling, shaky fingers, it takes three tries before he picks up the phone. On the second try, his hand brushes Matt's and drags something away. The thin shiny object is hanging from his fingers when he picks up the phone on the third try. Then he scrambles backwards and runs away. We don't see the object again in the frame. Just in that one clip of him picking up his phone and even then, it isn't seen if the video isn't zoomed in.

He also turned around at the same time and looked at me when I looked at him. Everything ran like a supper past forward play. I pushed the button and soon I ran out from it with no more stupidity. I saw him threw some file away from his hands and ran after me but he slipped and fall in the catching process. This was a plus point for me. I reached the elevator. I jumped inside it with a victory smile and pressed the ground floor. but seems like I rushed so soon to conclude it as my victory because the elevator's door is not closing. I again pressed it. It's again not closing.

Huang’s fingers caught it mid-fall. Well that was easy. “Now, it’s your turn.” I shrugged and readied my fingers, moving them like a crab’s pinchers. Two seconds after it left Mr. Huang’s grip, I snapped my fingers closed. I smiled in triumph before he clicked his tongue and pointed towards the ground. My smile faltered and I could feel a frown taking its place. I could’ve sworn I caught that piece of shit. “Again,” Mr. Huang declared and this time, I took it more seriously than the first time. Still, I missed catching it by a millimeter every time.

He talked slow and she hated every bit of it. After what seemed like forever, the meeting was finally over. Rowena tried calling Gary but he couldn't be reached. She tried her home phone but there was no answer. Panic coursed through her being as she hurried to her car. She deserved a reward for still being able to follow the right traffic rules.
