Some people have a good life, some people have a great childhood, well some people have a roof on top of their head. But not me, I’m different than most people, I lived in my car, worked in the local library, I was no one, add to that being a little doesn’t really help my case at all. It was all going to downward to hell, until I met them, I’ve met her first, then her husband and they wanted me, homeless, bookworm and all. This our story, our adventures, and our love. Tangis wanita itu pun tambah mengencang. "Hiks." "Aku akan berusaha menjadi istri terbaik untukmu. Tapi, tetaplah mencintaiku. Aku mohon. Hiks." "Aku akan membuktikan padamu." Berrand cukup terkejut mendengar tekad yang besar dalam suara lirih Loura Quinn. Dan, bara api keyakinan begitu nyata di sepasang mata wanita itu. Berrand dapat merasakan dengan jelas. "Kau akan memberikan apa pun yang aku mau, Loura?" Pertanyaan tersebut diluncurkan begitu saja oleh Berrand. "Iya! Aku akan lakukan apa saja yang kau minta agar kau tidak bisa berhenti mencintaimu." Berrand menangkupkan kedua tangannya di wajah menawan Loura Quinn. "Buktikan, Loura. Buat aku tergila-gila padamu, Loura Quinn." ………….
