The Devil Who Owes Me A Kiss

The Devil Who Owes Me A Kiss

She wove it carefully into her hair, securing an artful twist that suggested elegance without effort. The final item waited in tissue paper, modest yet precious beyond measure. Her well-worn copy of Pride and Prejudice bore the gentle scars of countless readings, its spine creased from years of seeking comfort in Austen’s wit. She had been clutching this very book the day she first encountered Henry Wynthorne properly, not merely as her parents’ friends’ son, but as a man whose laugh could illuminate an entire room. He had glanced at the cover with genuine curiosity, and she had treasured that moment of shared literary interest ever since. Perhaps tonight, she might finally find the courage

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

THE VILLAINESS REMEMBERED ME:In Every Timeline, She Chose De

"He has apparently noticed the change in her dining habits and is trying to determine whether it represents an improvement in the overall situation or a development he needs to be concerned about." "What did you tell him?" "That it was an improvement, and that he should stop calling it a situation." Seren's mouth curved. "How did he take that?" "With more grace than I expected." Clara paused. "He's a better person than the novel suggested. I think the novel was not very interesting to him." "Novels rarely are, with the third person in a triangle." "This isn't a triangle." "No," Seren agreed. "It isn't. Which is part of why he's handling it with more grace than anyone expected — he seems to h

she commanded, shoving the jacket into his chest. Dimas caught it instinctively, slipping his arms through the sleeves. To his utter shock, it fit. The shoulders sat clean, the fabric was thick and professional, and best of all, there were no tears held together by adhesive. "Well? Does it fit or are you going to stand there looking like an ungrateful mannequin?" a sharp voice barked from behind the counter. An older woman with impeccably dyed crimson hair, heavy silver rings on every finger, and an expression of profound exhaustion glared at them from behind a mountain of vintage leather boots.

 Ex-Lover's Regret

Ex-Lover's Regret

"Yes, you're right. He is indeed arrogant." "What?" He looked at me for a few moments. "Oh, he's in your class, right? His attitude must be annoying." I nodded. I was already in my room, reading Nicholas' book and getting excited every time I turned the page. The author was very good at making loveable couples, where the man and woman were both romantic in their own way. Therefore, they could be a couple in the man's book. I sighed softly, still affected by the sweet and enviable storyline. "When do I get true love for myself?"

Shadows In The Fire

Shadows In The Fire

I've waited 7 years for you to come to your senses and realize where you belong. Faye inhaled deeply, sometimes there was no use in arguing with him. He could counter her every point with one of his own that made perfect sense. One of the many reasons she fell in love with him so long ago. . . . he had no use for deception. His every emotion was honestly primed and he had no qualms about showing it. ‘No, you didn’t, ’she answered, ’but neither are you making me forget the offer is on the table. You can be very persuasive, Mr. Evans and I’m not sure I have the strength to resist you for too long.’

His Possession {The Bad Boy Love}

His Possession {The Bad Boy Love}

“It’s a classic novel that explores themes of love, social class, and personal growth.” Jake leaned casually against the desk, flashing a charming grin. “We chose this book because it perfectly shows how first impressions can be misleading... kinda like how Janna here thought I was just a ‘pretty face.’”* The class chuckled, while Janna gave Jake a warning glare. **“As I was saying,”** Janna continued, “the central characters, Elizabeth Bennet and Mr. Darcy, initially misjudge each other but learn to overcome their biases.”** Jake chimed in. **“Darcy was rich, proud, and thought he was better than everyone — sound familiar?”** He pointed to himself dramatically, earning more laughter.

Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO

Dumping My Ex to Flash Marry the Untouchable CEO

"And I worry about you too. You’re exhausted, yet still trying to please me. What about your health?" Judy really knew the art of persuasion. By saying he was trying to please her, she implied that she desired and needed him. That alone fed straight into Joseph’s ego, satisfying his deep-rooted sense of male pride, and just like that, his mood began to lift.

Lin Wilkerson
Book has good qualities, yet I find myself skipping parts of it because it becomes boring and drags. I Love that you are updating 6 or more chapters daily, but I would like this book finished with an awesome ending. Also, when will Lucas's identity be revealed? It's at 476 chapters and counting.

Currently I am losing interest in reading this book because of so much unnecessary dragging of the storyline. Plus Lucas' character is losing the charm and power it held at the start. Aurora and Lucas are now becoming the side characters in their own story.

George’s breathing became heavy, and he carried her up higher. In his heart, he praised Anna’s decision of moving into a new house. This new house was quite big and they would not need to worry about Grace getting to know about their deeds.

A YEAR WITH THE BILLIONAIRE

A YEAR WITH THE BILLIONAIRE

Isabella isn't in the room and I glance around, wondering where she has gone when I hear the shower running. She must be in the bathroom. I was thinking she had gone somewhere else in embarrassment of what she had done to humiliate me but it's ok. I understand that she is only trying to help. I am thinking of going out to give her enough time to come out and get dressed when my gaze falls on the book on the sectional sofa. It looks like a novel so I pick it up. The title is MAIL-ORDER BRIDE and it looks like a romantic novel from the 20th century. I can figure it out from the cover of the book which has a bride and a man in a frock.

Falling for My Contract Lover

Falling for My Contract Lover

She hurried to leave, not wanting to give him a chance to change his mind. "Let's go," she urged, tugging at Donna's hand. "Donna, sure you don't want to stay? I'm quite skilled, you know," Humphrey said casually, his hands in his pockets, his gaze confident yet not overbearing, his handsome face exuding charm. Emily felt Donna's hesitation and feared Humphrey's allure might sway her. "A single misstep can lead to a lifetime of regret," Emily whispered in her ear. However, Donna seemed entranced by Humphrey's charm, barely moving her feet and looking back every few steps. Emily almost had to drag her away while Humphrey's laughter, filled with insinuation, echoed behind them.
