Ezekiel, maintaining his composure, reached out and shook it firmly. "So, you’re Kathrine’s boyfriend?" Dad said with a hint of curiosity, though his tone carried an undertone of something sharper. I arched my brows, surprised and uneasy at Dad’s choice of words. He shouldn’t have phrased it like that. Ezekiel, unbothered, replied calmly, "I’m Ezekiel. He played the part of a boyfriend in love all too well. "I know." Stacy popped her tongue against the roof of her mouth, something she did when she was deep in thought. "What's on your mind?" I studied her face curiously. She got a wicked grin on her face and looked at me. "So break up with him, but let him know that you know. Make it painfully obvious that you're the option he should've chosen." Stacy grabbed my hand and pulled me toward the bathroom. "We could do a makeover, make him see what he's missing."
