He took out a printed document detailing Xander's requests while Jasmin got her notepad out to write down any important information. Peter handed a copy of the documents to Hannah and Jasmin while Xander remained silent in the corner. He looks like he has his own world. He was fidgeting as if he was anxious a sight Hannah never thought she'd see. "My client, Mr. Xander Paul Miller, accepts the trespassing case we are not going to fight..." Snapping my neck to the side to a satisfying crack, I make my way to the main office. Alex is already by the coffee machine brewing a cup. "You want a cup too?" She asks and I give her a light nod. After the company’s annual party, Xara was driving home alone. On her way home, she was ambushed by her business rivals. There were around twenty people who surrounded Xara’s car, and they wanted to kidnap her. Luckily, Peter rushed to her rescue in the nick of time. Not only was he smart when it came to work, but he also had a great EQ as well. To add to that, he was extremely proficient in martial arts. Despite sustaining injuries, he still managed to defeat all twenty of Xara’s assailants. He then picked her up and ran off with her.

Peter stood arms akimbo, “Maybe we should involve the cops. What do you say? Or hire someone to help us investigate.” “I don't think that's a right thing to do now Peter.” Lyssa replied, matter of factly. “I am so tired of everything. I mean, it's really tiring having to go through all these just after I had a divorce.” Scarlet ranted. Peter moved close to her and held her hand. His eyes were turquoise green. A rare color she had never seen before. He had the siren eyes and this made her weak. His jaw was perfectly chiseled and her eyes flew to his muscled hands.

The guards bristled at the slight movement, pressing their spears closer to him. Xavier raised a hand, halting their movements. I watch as Peter reveals a coiled snake tattoo, just below his ear. He knows who you are.” Serenity cocked an eyebrow at him. “How?” Xander’s eyes narrowed, suddenly growing wary of the strange man. “Because, Alexander; Peter was the one who freed me from that hell hole. He was the one who found me and rescued me from the men who kidnapped me.” The shock that registered on Alexander’s face caused satisfaction to bubble in Serenity’s stomach. “You’re a Veneno.” Xander’s eyes strayed to the cobra tattoo on Peter’s forearm. “I am.” Peter smirked. Alexander blanched.

ZARA “What did you just say?” Xavier asked in absolute disbelief. “I do not want Peter. I rejected the mate bond, even though the rejection didn’t snap into place.” My arms wrapped around him, and I lifted my head to keep my gaze on his handsome face. “What did you say about the contract? You asked if it was still just a contract to me. Isn’t the answer obvious, Xavier?” No response came from him, and for a moment, I worried. Then a wide, genuine smile spread across his lips. His breath shook as he spoke. “I am genuinely lost for words right now.”

He kisses my shoulder and stands, sliding out of me. “You know I wouldn’t be calling you if it wasn’t,” I hear Quirin say. I crawl onto the bed while Henry turns and sits beside me. I move behind him, wrapping my arms around him while I listen in, making sure nothing is wrong in our pack. “Do you know an Alpha Peter, Henry?” Henry growls. “Peter Moore? Patrick’s younger brother?” he asks, looking at me. “I just got off the phone with Wendy and Hacker. Apparently, Peter is the one who was planning to buy Piper.”
