He sat beside her on the bed and took out a red book written in a strange language. Seeing the book, she immediately sat up. "You're not gonna read me that, are you?" she asked with a shaky voice.

"Peter was just being Peter. Don't read too much into it." Xander's gaze didn't waver. "I don't appreciate you talking about my fiancée like that," he said, his voice dangerously low. Peter swallowed visibly, his eyes darting between me and Xander. "Look, I didn't mean any disrespect. Dude, you are... You are... You are jealous!"
