Healing The Devil I Once Loved

Healing The Devil I Once Loved

"Petra runs the logistics office on Carmine on the third floor. She handles the dead drops and the routing schedules for the Red Dragon. Silas sends her the boy's coordinates every six hours so she can clear the grid ahead of the transport van. If we get her terminal, we get the next three drop locations before Silas even generates them." Zaria looked at me, her eyes wide. "Can we trust this?" "Domo confirmed it," I said. "But Petra won't let anyone through the door unless she recognizes them. So Nicholas will go in first and tell her he has the emergency physical ledger from the south road. Once the door is unlatched, we move." "I'm going in with him," Zaria said instantly. "No," I countere

Petra returned the greeting, turning to wave at the staff with a warm smile. Before she could turn back, she bumped into Oscar and gasped. "Oscar." She called slowly, looking up shockingly at him. "Congratulations!" He said, holding her by the shoulders. "I heard you got promoted. You're my new boss." Petra gasped, her head tilted in confusiot. She opened her mouth in shock.

She was still heavily hunched over, and her head was covered by a veil that showed only her rheumy eyes, but she moved with confidence and purpose. “Luna,” she said in a raspy voice, bowing her head. “We weren’t expecting you.” “I should have sent word. I’m sorry.” She waved it off. “You’re always welcome here. I’m Petra. I lead The Broken.” “Natalia.” I shook her hand. It was gnarled and twisted, but warm. “This is my son, Max.” “I remember you, Max.” She gestured with one of her crutches. “Please, come in.”

Obsidian Eyes
I really enjoy this novel and hope to see more, as it’s been 2 months. I miss the original cover and how it reflected the FL’s strength and leadership. The new cover suggests a very different kind of story. Please bring back original cover, or hope future artwork better reflects the story.

I love this story! 594 chapters in and I still find myself captivated by it. The characters, the world building and the evolving nature of everything is so fascinating. I’d love to see what happens next, and I really hope this continues!

The Wolfless Doctor

The Wolfless Doctor

Reston's financial investigation produced a name within two weeks of authorization, and the name was not one any of us had expected. The Covenant financial accounts had been designed by a woman named Petra Solano, a supernatural financial architect who had served the Covenant's treasury division for thirty years before the Montana assault. She had been on the coalition's original list of Covenant operatives to locate and question, had been marked as low priority because she held no combat or leadership role, and had quietly slipped through the gaps of a very large net.

My Contract Marriage

My Contract Marriage

Petra noticed the sadness that suddenly appeared in her eyes, so she dropped the tray of food on the bed and patted her shoulders. “Its not something to be ashamed of Crystal, that’s why you should stop keeping yourself cooped up in this room and come outside a little.” Her voice as light as a feather and even before Crystal invited her, she sat down beside her. Crystal simply nodded back. “Well, if you keep your attitude up, you would make Mr. Smith go crazy and in his fit, he is going to fire me.” Petra complained. “I’m actually too old to go back to live with my grandmother… and I’m not married to, I will be the laughing stock of the whole town.”

This story started off great with the hostile attitudes, but 94 chapters in and three attempted murders with Kayden not caring or Crystal not reacting to the seriousness has me rethinking if I want to continue spending money on a story that is dragging along. Please give us more story not fluff.

It was an epic and emotional rollercoaster.Kayden made me angry a lot of times but I guess he is a good man and he deserved to keep her. The characters in this book are very good. I love how Paige is such a supportive friend. A must read!

The Alpha's Silenced Mate

The Alpha's Silenced Mate

I show her — pinching a sprig of rosemary between my fingers and holding it up, then gesturing to the row of plants, then making the motion of checking and sorting. She watches this with serious attention. "Is it important?" I tilt my hand. A little. Somewhat. "Mama says everything in the healing house is important," Petra says, with the authority of someone relaying wisdom from a reliable source. "She says Healer Vera knows more than most Alphas." I smile at that. I believe it.

” You were expecting this conversation. “I was hoping for it,” he said and there was clear relief that felt like her choice actually mattered to him. “I didn’t want to push you toward it then you had to come to me because this isn’t my war and I can help you fight it but you have to be the one to decide it’s worth fighting for.” — He wrote two names on the page. Sloane leaned forward a little, reading them. “Petra is the private investigator,” she said. “She’s been working private cases for eleven years. She’s careful, fast and doesn’t share information she’s not paid to share.”

Divorce the Cheat, Return for Revenge

Petra blinked slowly, looking from Mandy back to Malcolm. Her heart felt strangely warm. Malcolm then shifted his hand toward the second woman. “And this is Rosa Shaw.” Rosa nodded respectfully. “She’s your personal rehab coach,” Malcolm said. “She’ll help you regain your strength and get you back in top shape.” Petra’s lips parted slightly in surprise. Malcolm then pointed to the last woman in line. “And Silvia Navarro,” he said. “She’s your childcare specialist. She’ll take care of everything with the baby.”

Mine was still coming. I lit a cigarette, inhaled deeply, the smoke filling the room like the calm after a storm, and exhaled slowly. “Petra Almassi,” I said, letting the name taste bitter on my tongue. “She set this in motion. And if there’s one thing I know about her, it’s this: she doesn’t wait. She creates opportunity. And she’s brilliant enough to make everyone else believe it was a chance. Antonioni underestimated her. You know she even went and studied criminology, from what I sense. All that just because she wanted to have a say… Come for Antonioni.”

Trapped With The Ruthless Alpha: The Heiress Vendetta

Petra never failed to amaze me. The test ended at 11:45. Not too surprising Petra finished on time while I still had a few questions untouched. the lecturer collected the scripts. “Were you able to finish?” Petra asked, she hung her bag. “I was 80 percent done.” “I finished. It's crazy how you are still scared of asking for help.” She mentioned, we were making our way out the seats when someone bummed into me. "Watched where you are going little escort.” Kimberly sneered at me. Storming out of the lecture hall.
