My Contract Marriage
Petra noticed the sadness that suddenly appeared in her eyes, so she dropped the tray of food on the bed and patted her shoulders.
“Its not something to be ashamed of Crystal, that’s why you should stop keeping yourself cooped up in this room and come outside a little.” Her voice as light as a feather and even before Crystal invited her, she sat down beside her.
Crystal simply nodded back.
“Well, if you keep your attitude up, you would make Mr. Smith go crazy and in his fit, he is going to fire me.” Petra complained. “I’m actually too old to go back to live with my grandmother… and I’m not married to, I will be the laughing stock of the whole town.”
