Everyone in the office stops what they are doing to look at them, but makes no attempt of getting in to settle it, because they know the consequences. Someone has done it before, and it did not end well for that person. And they did the right thing because Mark, Patty, Sam, Leticia, Alice, Paul and Ethan and Allison all started bickering with each other. Patty and Mark are practically screaming at each other. Sam and Leticia's voices were distinct but they had deep frowns on their faces. Alice and Paul are throwing each other's hands in the air as they fight. Allison angrily talked to Ethan, but the latter looked unbothered. I didn't want to be nosy, but they are not being discreet about it. Trenton and I? We're acting like we don't know each other. If he's waiting for praise, he'll be waiting in vain.

The next morning was another list of family arguments. Daniel and Harry locked themselves in the office and shouted so loudly you could hear them from the hallway. Deanna and Leonard fought in her dressing room and ended with her father storming out, cursing. Charles and Camila clashed too—each one defending a different daughter-in-law. Ethan finally caught his sister with the blond dwarf, hiding behind one of the gym walls, and chaos broke loose. It seemed the fragile peace the Crushers had managed to build was falling apart.

He spoke in a soft tone contradicting his usual self . "Well you're the one who's always causing trouble . I'm not a two year old you know . " She snickered at him . "Who's been troublesome right now ?? . " Micheal sighed and pinched his brows . "Alright . Let's call it a truce shall we?? " She held out her hand for a shake . His large palm engulfed her tiny own and he gave her a firm shake lingering on the contact a little . Emily was the one who snatched her hands away and laughed nervously .
