The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

The Rise of a Master: It Starts With Rejection

"Yes, that's most likely. We've lost 30 people in a week, so we must eliminate this Phantom before casualties worsen. The challenge is that A-tier Phantoms leave no traces—you'll have to rely on chance encounters." Xena smiled wryly. "We have few people who can handle Phantoms reliably. We're understaffed, so I hope you understand." Felix smiled. "No problem. I'll visit some old friends in Yartford first, then head there." After the convoy left, Felix called Jack and Madeline to arrange dinner for the next day, then headed to the airport. After some consideration, he called Averill in the car, too. "Hmph! You heartless man. Why did it take you a week to call?"

 The Alpha’s Forbidden Coyote Mate

The Alpha’s Forbidden Coyote Mate

His wink is quick, magnetic, before he kneels, flexing his muscles. I watch, transfixed, as the ten men dissolve into shadows, waifs that dance into the wind. They spiral around him, then sink into his back, disintegrating into the black markings of the tribal tattoo etched across his skin. The last shadow smooths into his vertebrae, and Phantom rises, body taut, power humming beneath his flesh. “Those guards are a part of you? Is that why your parents named you Phantom?”

Out of those 15, one of them was Archie Foster. After he received the information about Phantom’s location, he had teleported inside Glitch with his most efficient team of 14 hunters. He had gathered his strongest men to hunt him down. Archie was at Solar Plexus Chakra stage. After realizing that Phantom is only at the Sacral Chakra Stage–one stage below him–his rage was off the charts. After the hijack, Archie's reputation as the upcoming CEO of the Pinnacle Industries had suffered quite a bit, not to mention he got zero profit from the Manticore’s hunt. Archie gazed from the top of the tree. He soon spotted him and realized he was the same Black Armored thief.

Still coming along nicely. The Archie plot has hot a good point. I feel there is more to come with Rain in the story and I like that. It is good to acknowledge the news spread of his accomplishments beating down Archie, but I would shorten the side conversations of the random people.

I'm honestly surprised that this story doesn't have more views and reviews. It's well-written, moves at a relaxing pace and the author did an amazing job with the descriptions. The characters has great depth, personalities that stand out. It is also clean and well-edited.

Alpha's Feral Kitten

Alpha's Feral Kitten

The Phantom looks thoughtful from his seat across from mine. “You know what this baby wolf pack needs,” he says. “Don’t tell me,” Fleming says. “A party, my loves. We need some unity and raised morale.” Tristan looks thoughtful for a minute, then shrugs. “Do it, but increase security and make it hard for people to go unnoticed.” “No fog machines or creative lighting,” Dom says. “Billie, come to my room tomorrow morning. I think we should make your vocal debut at this party,” the Phantom tells me.

The Phantom Reaper

The Phantom Reaper

I NEED to know who he is, and something tells me I won’t discover much if I approach him as Phantom Reaper. I don’t really even know who I actually am, to be honest. I never indulged in friendships or relationships with others. It’s just always been survival. The only person I had any kind of positive relationship was my mother. I don’t know my father but because of my hair color, I’m fairly certain my father was Christian Bartoa. I know he frequented the slave cells whenever he was bored, and the urge arises so it doesn’t surprise me, but I don’t intend to ever claim him nor carry his surname. The thought of actually SPEAKING to Damien makes me feel a weird sense of anxiety. I’m unsure if i

They were loving it, but were not trying to show it but only if their smiles could complement their mental restriction. They stayed without saying a word at all for the entire time that Shadow was doing his business. It was only after it started getting a little dark but still quite bright enough, and Marie was walking across the park to get out and head home, did Jean gather courage to slide her hand in a way that she could hold Marie’s hand which was purposely left hanging by her.

Master of Life and Death

Missus was slang for wife in Thimberton. "I'm scared, Dr. York!" Fiona was on the verge of tears as she looked at Cassian with fearful eyes. "Don't be afraid. I'm here." Cassian comforted her before questioning Phantom once more. "These villagers never did anything to you. Why did you kill them?" "I killed them? Heavens, no! They're not dead to me. On the contrary, they're my greatest treasures," Phantom declared. "Ever since I was young, I dedicated myself to learning the secrets of corpse animation. It took me ten years to master this ability.

Ghost In The Pack

Ghost In The Pack

“You’re welcome to search anywhere you’d like.” I gave him a short nod. “We intend to.” The old man stepped aside without another word while my warriors continued moving through the enormous house. The search took much longer than I expected. Every office. Every bedroom. Every meeting room. The training grounds. The garages. The surrounding buildings. Nothing. No Bernard. No Darla. No Beta. No Gamma. It was as though every person holding authority inside the Black Claw Pack had simply vanished. Nearly an hour later, my warriors slowly gathered outside near the convoy. One after another they reported exactly the same thing. Nothing.

The Phoenix Contract

The Phoenix Contract

By sunset, only Adrian’s people remained. Adrian led her inside, his sharp gaze was all over her. The grand entrance boasted a massive chandelier, dripping with crystal, reflecting light across marble floors polished to perfection. A staircase curled up to the second floor, its golden railings gleaming under the dim lights. Art pieces hung on the walls. There was no doubt this was the home of someone who controlled everything within its walls. "Listen carefully, Seraphina," Adrian finally spoke, turning to face her. "There are rules you will follow if you intend to stay here. Break them, and we will have problems."
