Phoebe Damon was gone a few minutes before me, but we’d had early morning sex, and I was feeling relaxed and simultaneously excited about seeing Uncle Theo again. It promised to be a nice day, so I dressed in a sleeveless tunic and light capris before slipping on sandals. When I went downstairs, I was surprised to see a few people moving around, and some of them were already sharply dressed. Oh, well. This was kind of vacation, at least for me, and I wasn’t going to be a fashion plate every second.

In her defense, she was tired. When it was time to be Phoebe again, she packed her stuff in a mini backpack…just big enough to accommodate her things. She dressed as though she were heading to the gym, well she actually did go to the gym, but got out as somebody else. She had a tiny bottle of raw sulphuric acid with her that she used to get rid of her gym clothes and the cheap backpack. She flushed the remnants down the toilet, silently mourning her sports shoes. Not that they were too expensive, but she loved all her belongings.

Chloe’s POV The next evening I stood in front of the full-length mirror in my suite, heart hammering as I adjusted the policewoman costume Jeff had left for me. The outfit was ridiculously hot, a tight black latex top that zipped up the front and pushed my breasts up into deep cleavage, a short pleated skirt that barely covered my ass, thigh-high stockings with garters, and shiny black boots that reached my knees. A police hat sat tilted on my loose auburn hair, and I’d added a pair of handcuffs dangling from my belt and a prop baton tucked into a loop. Underneath, I wore nothing but a tiny black lace thong that was already damp.

JANE The Wonder Woman costume was tighter than I remembered. I tugged at the bodice, making sure everything stayed in place. Red and gold leather, the signature tiara, knee-high boots that made my legs look endless. Halloween week at Fantasy Island meant themed costumes, and Madam Fantasy had been clear: go big or go home.

Half an hour later, Phoebe sat staring blankly at her phone, debating whether or not to call Alva for help. Just then, a woman's voice broke through her thoughts. "Miss, here are some clothes for you." Without waiting for her reply, the woman came in, placed the clothes down, and left. Phoebe looked at the pile in embarrassment. Everything was there, from underwear to outerwear. The only thing that really embarrassed her was that the underwear was black... and rather sheer.

I had absolutely no memory of what our conversation was about since I was barely awake and I hardly want to think about what I may have said to her then. I left the parking lot and headed slowly to the floral shop. The displays were already out and I moved zombie-like with my satchel flung over my shoulder. Phoebe was the first person I saw when I entered, and she had the biggest grin from ear to ear. How anyone could be happy twenty-four seven was beyond me. It must be exhausting. At the gate. the sun shone down, making people feel warm. Phoebe has been cooped up in the house all day, and she looked forward to the feast tonight. She was wearing a white long—sleeved T—shirt, a knee—length denim skirt, and white shoes. She was slender and delicate, with a hint of a student.

Chapter Three Aphrodite "There they are!" Phoebe exclaimed as we walked towards Bianca and Khloe, who were sitting on the bar stools, sipping their drinks and flirting with some guys. "Hey, Phoebe.
