Claiming My Alpha

Claiming My Alpha

I never thought that I would experience such bliss. The sun was shining brightly but the tall trees around us protect us from its hot glare. We decided to take a day off as we all gathered at the Falls. Drake and the guys prepared a spot for us to spread our picnic mats. While Nicolo helped Calvin and Lisa with the cooking. He really has a talent for it and I watch as Lisa tries to convince him to study culinary.

As the story evolves, you can tell how much dedication the author has spent developing each one the main characters as they grow stronger together throughout the book (instead of just focusing Drake and Athena). You can feel the emotions no matter how dumb, silly or painful it is. Excellent Job!!

Was a really good read. Just a little disappointed in how it ended. The whole books geared you up for this type of war to happen but at the end it just leaves you hanging. Maybe the sequel will answer all of the questions that were brought up in the first one..

Awakening of the Darkness's Heirs

Awakening of the Darkness's Heirs

"Why don't we have a picnic this weekend? It's been a while since we've had time to relax off campus." Raven was immediately enthusiastic. "Agreed! It'll be fun. We can bring food, play little games, and Jeremy can bring his guitar for entertainment!" Jeremy smiled, looked down a little embarrassed, but nodded in agreement. "Okay, I'll play a few songs. But if you guys promise not to laugh at me if I play badly." Raven chuckled. "Relax, we wouldn't have the heart for that." The night before the picnic, Raven and Meredith were busy preparing the food. Meredith stirred the salad while glancing at Raven, noticing the smile that was constantly etched on her face.

Divorce to Destiny: Reclaiming My CEO Husband

Divorce to Destiny: Reclaiming My CEO Husband

He starts back down and I give a sigh of relief. “I’m going to explore the bushes a bit more.” Bobby is looking around everywhere. “Okay. Don’t wander too far.” Suddenly I’m starving hungry. “Let’s set up the picnic.” Viktor spreads the heavy picnic rug. I lay Henry on it and sit beside him. The sun is quite warm still. “Girls, are you hungry?” “Yes!” They both say together. “Come on.” “Bobby,” I call out. “Picnic time!” His teen boy appetite I expect him to come running.

Pearls of love

Pearls of love

"But you see the Rolls Royce Phantom we have at home has that and I always preferred it when I wanted to make a private trip." "Hmm nice," said Kane, genuinely sounding impressed. At the Cedar Creek Waterfall they sat and were picnicking around the cliff. The sound of water rushing down filled the air and birds sung a song near by as if they were in a singing contest. Kane had paid for the meals and items that they were using for picnicking like the mat, table clothes, cutleries which were all porcelain. They had meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Kane also bought bread and Nutella. Also there was a packaged fruit basket with a variety of in and out of season fruits.

Small Town Girl

Small Town Girl

I loved coming out here during the week when it wasn't as crowded. Peyton sat in awe as she stared at the scenery in front of her. The cove was cut out and had high sides that provided shade, along with the trees that topped them. There was a bit of a waterfall that landed on flat rocks people used to slide into the lake. I hadn't seen anyone jump off the rope swing yet, but it was up there, too-you just had to hike to get to it. That freefall was worth every step up the steep bank. Beau tossed out the anchor and then the ladder. Standing on the bow, he glanced back. "You guys coming?"

THE ALPHA WHO SAVED ME WITH HIS MATE BOND

THE ALPHA WHO SAVED ME WITH HIS MATE BOND

"The pleasure is mine, milady. I've been driving this route for over thirty years now. I know every twist and turn like the back of my hand. Would you like to know more about the places we pass?" "I would love that," Astrid said, feeling more at ease. Harold pointed out various landmarks as they traveled and shared stories about the land. "Over there, you see that old tree?" he said, gesturing with his whip. "That's the Hanging Tree. Legend has it that it was used for public executions centuries ago. But don't let that scare you; it's just an old tale to keep the children from wandering too far." Astrid nodded, intrigued. "It looks ancient. I can almost feel the history."

My Sister's Fiance, My Fated Mate

My Sister's Fiance, My Fated Mate

“Worth waking up for, right?” I nodded, unable to tear my gaze away. “Yeah… it’s beautiful.” We lingered there for a moment, soaking it in. Couples were taking pictures, a few brave ones trying to stand close to the falls. Logan slipped his arm around my shoulders, and for a heartbeat. Just us. Then a voice cut through the moment. “Alright everyone!” one of the guides called. “We’re doing a little game before the next stretch…find as many colored rocks as you can! They’re hidden along the next kilometer. Winner gets a surprise gift!”

“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

“Daddy, Will You Ever Love Me?”

It's the last picnic area on the path he told her. She pulled into the circular parking area. There were two other cars there. She tentatively walked down the tree lined path, passing two other campsites along the way, not seeing anyone. She finally reached the Wilson picnic area. It was a large cemented area with a roof over it. It was filled with picnic tables, ready for the next family gathering. It had a couple of permanent charcoal grilles on either side and was tucked away into the woods. There was no one. She hesitantly walked onto the covered area. Her head was on a swivel. "Hello? Anybody here?" she quietly called out.

Marriage First, Mate Second

Marriage First, Mate Second

I tell him gently, “It will be ok. Maybe do something to show her how much you care. Actually, I think I have an idea.” *** Amber’s POV “Guys, thank you so much for doing this,” Elliot says, adjusting his tux, “Do you really think it will work?” I look at the elegant spread before us, and decide that we’ve done well. Sophie has always loved picnics, and I remember her telling me once that she thought having a picnic in the park with someone she loves was the most romantic idea in the world. I told Elliot about her admission, and Levi and I spent the afternoon creating the ultimate romantic picnic for our friends. We couldn’t find a private park, so we’ve created our own in the clearing at th

But here we were, and it felt like magic. As the sun began to set, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink, we gathered back under the cherry blossom tree. Jiro spread out the picnic food, and the kids eagerly dug in. Mina, ever the little lady, ate her sandwich daintily, while Hibiki devoured his food like he hadn’t eaten in days. “Mina,” Hibiki said through a mouthful of chips, “you’re lucky I didn’t run faster earlier. I could’ve won.”
