She patted his head like he was her oversized baby, repeating herself when Damian shook his head happily. "What's that?" He lay down, wrapping his arms around her legs. He moved her hand from her belly to his head. "Tell me." 'God, baby, your dad is jealous of you.' As she stroked his hair, she began telling the tale. "It's a children's story. You really don't know it, love? It's about a rabbit who races against a turtle." The book she was holding was a collection of classic fables-popular bedtime stories or early reading practice for preschoolers. The short text, accompanied by bright illustrations, made it easy for kids to enjoy.

‘GEOGRAPHY AND FAIRYTALE SECTION’ spelled at the top of the shelf and as Gerey scanned from book to book, he remembered a few he'd read at school, ‘Knowing Wabrook's Water Brooks and Bodies’ by Whitaker Flarogue, ‘Sunset at Ingfalls’ by Simponie Gugh, ‘The best habitat for all - Ingfalls - Book One’ by Cuulambs Nicktra, but they were not what he searched for. He narrowed his eyes in concentration as he skimmed tens of book covers before he came across the right material to satisfy his interest, ‘Pixies, Elves, Brownies, Fairies - What Every Kid Needs to Know’ with no author mentioned as the writer. He pulled the book out from among the others with caution and took it to the seat he'd secured

Then I noticed the cover of the book, it has a hole round shape in it and an anchor then ship wheel in it. I look at the three objects in my hand and the book. I put two and two together and realized something. I connected the dots and placed the three objects into the holes in the cover of the book. I was almost blinded when it shined so bright. I let out a surprise gasp when the book floated and automatically flipped the pages. It stopped at one page. The book slowly landed back down on the bed. I let out a deep breath and decided to read what the book was showing me.

the secretary explained before lifting the empty box and pointing at the information listed. “Training fine motor skills, training concentration, and recognizing various shapes, numbers, images and colors. Isn't this a great toy for Cayden?" she continued in a more excited voice. After a glance, Mia lay on her side and propped up on one elbow. “Are you happy, Little Prince?” she asked, tilting her head. The baby who was trying to fit a triangle in the right hole laughed. “Mi … ya, cacaca ….” With a crooked smile, the secretary stroked Cayden's head. After a moment of silence, the girl turned her gaze to Gabriella.

Stuffed animals lined the shelves, their button eyes twinkling mischievously. Theo's small hands eagerly reached for a stack of picture books, their pages adorned with whimsical illustrations. Hazel's voice carried a melody of excitement and anticipation as she read aloud, bringing the characters to life. Theo's eyes widened with each turn of the page, his imagination taking flight. As the story unfolded, Hazel's voice rose and fell, painting vivid pictures in their minds. They journeyed through enchanted forests, where talking animals whispered secrets and magical beings danced in moonlit clearings. Hazel's voice was a gentle breeze, carrying them away to far-off lands filled with endless p

The edges were soft. The corners bent. He opened the first page. There were no words. Only drawings. Beautiful drawings. Families. Mountains. Stars. Animals. Gardens. Peanut climbed onto the sofa beside him. Then announced, "You read." Thomas looked uncertain. "I don't know if I can." "You can." She sounded absolutely convinced. Honestly? Fair. Very fair. Reasonable actually. Thomas looked down at the pictures. Something inside him relaxed. He began making up a story.

I sighed and waited anxiously, silently praying to the moon goddess that this would work because I didn’t know what else I’d do to get evidence if this didn’t go well. “I’m asking for Dawn’s number,” he muttered. “Then we can go from there.” I nodded and muttered my thanks. I noticed a book beside the television and sauntered toward it, anything to keep me busy and stop me from freaking out. Picking it up, I read the words on it: ‘Shape and Color Book.’ I flipped through it and noticed the shapes he had colored, with crayon smeared at the edges. “He’s a year and four months old now.”

"We will learn five today. By the end of the week you will know them all." He was patient in a way I had not expected. When I struggled to form the letters correctly he simply showed me again. When I confused similar shapes he created memory tricks to help me distinguish them. Within an hour I could write A through E and recognize them on the page. "Excellent progress." He smiled and it reached his eyes. "Tomorrow we will continue. For now let me show you something." He led me deeper into the library to a section with older books bound in faded leather. He pulled one down and opened it carefully.

I placed my head lazily on my palm as I stared at the strange writings on the chalkboard. The teacher moved around the class,“You all have to be familiar with the shapes and sizes of things so as to identify them. For example, you need to know the clear difference of a Rectangle from a square and also a Circle from an Oval shape. All you need to know are the formulas which can be used to calculate its Area.” I looked him in the eyes as I let out a yawn of boredom. It seems this caught his attention, he looked towards my direction heading towards my seat. “Miss Everest, you seem uninterested in what I'm teaching.”
