The lost hybrid

The lost hybrid

I wake up to this delicious scent. It reminds me of my mother's cinnamon rolls fresh out of the oven. I leave my bedroom and walk downstairs without even looking at my hair or my pajamas. The smell is divine so I follow it in a daze. As I enter the kitchen I see Dante in there and oh my goodness, it is cinnamon rolls! He even made bacon to go with them. Then, just as I get ready to attack the cinnamon goodness, another scent hits me. It went along with the cinnamon rolls so well that at first I did not notice it. It has a slight vanilla and cinnamon swirl smell, kind of similar to a snickerdoodle cookie. As soon as I register this scent, I look up at Dante with my eyes wide. The smell is com

The Amazing Doctor

Sebastian said, nodding. "What do you think should be done, Mr. Ballard? I would like to ask for your wisdom," Florian said, bowing to Sebastian. "Use cinnamon," Sebastian reminded him, smiling. "Cinnamon?" Both Alexander and Florian were startled. In the current schools of thinking, cinnamon was not suitable for those with liver conditions due to its potency. "This medicine is much too strong. Wouldn't that make Mr. Kellogg Senior unwell?" Florian asked worriedly. "Dr. Chesney," Sebastian called.

Fighting Hearts

Fighting Hearts

Sloane said, not confirming it. The oats thickened, filling the kitchen with their scent. Lennox lifted the spoon, tilted the pot slightly, and glanced at her questioningly. "Is it supposed to look like this?" "It's supposed to look like that," she corrected gently. "Now add a handful of crushed walnuts and a pinch of cinnamon. Second and fourth jar, right-hand side." Lennox obediently stepped over, found them, and added the ingredients. His movements were smoother now. No tremble, no hesitation. Not because he suddenly knew how to cook—but because her voice... gave him direction.

“How did you know it is from me? I didn’t put my name to it.” “I smelled it. You have a unique and delicious smell,” Wynn said, looking into her golden-brown eyes. “Oh, yeah, the meat thing,” Ann said, blushing. “No, cinnamon.”

Cracking His Code

Cracking His Code

Even the thought of it hurts so much that I can barely breathe. "I’ll use them." "Do you want to do this? If it is not something you want, I will not continue." I think about the last three days. Pushing him. Waiting for him to snap. How badly I’ve wanted to be pinned down, shoved into a corner I can’t wriggle out of. "Yes." "Talk to me through it." "Yes, Sir." He uncaps the bottle. The sweet, warm scent of cinnamon hits the air. "Cinnamon oil," he says, pouring a few drops into his palm.

The Art of Life and Love: The First Spark

The Art of Life and Love: The First Spark

"Chill for at least four hours(preferably overnight), with plastic wrap placed directly on the pudding surface to prevent the formation of a skin. *Do not remove cinnamon sticks. The longer they marinate in the pudding the better." Tony felt warm and fuzzy inside as he thought about the smile he'd bring to Dillon's face with just rice pudding. Although, the kitchen had definitely seen better days. He may need Dillon's help to get it shipshape again. The mess was extra spectacular as his rice pudding was probably the most complex recipe he had, with the most ingredients to boot. That meant kitchen explosion to the max.

His Baby, My Revenge

His Baby, My Revenge

When my feet hit the ground, he whispered in my ear, “I could have grabbed that for you.” “I know,” his proximity mixed whatever the hell shifted moments ago was making my brain feel fuzzy. “Cinnamon huh?” I’d never tried cinnamon on my hot chocolate before, but I needed more of him, and I wasn’t about to ask him to spit in my drink like a lunatic. I shrugged, trying to play it off, “It just sounded like it’d be good.” Finn watched as I sprinkled the cinnamon overtop of my whipped cream like I was a surgeon performing surgery. He seemed fascinated by anything I did, and it made me feel seen.

The Next Lord Of The Central City.

The Next Lord Of The Central City.

Comparing a bakery store or homemade batch with those would be akin to comparing fresh pasta in a cheese wine sauce with boxed mac 'n' cheese. The cinnamon buns had risen from their muffin pan casings like unfurled telescopes. Inside the delicate swirl of butter-rich dough were apple chunks coated in the cinnamon sugar. Before they'd been out of the oven a full minute there was an empty spot in the tray and Rose was nowhere to be seen. River shrugged, taking her theft as a compliment.

Her Alpha King

Her Alpha King

The scent of vanilla, chocolate, and caramelized sugar wafted through the air, blending harmoniously with the hint of cinnamon that Jennifer was carefully sprinkling on top. “Should I sprinkle the cinnamon on it like this?” Jennifer, one of the bakers, asked me. “Yes, just like that, but a little lighter, please,” I instructed, watching as she delicately adjusted her technique. The cinnamon added a perfect touch of warmth and spice, complementing the sweet aroma that filled the bakery.

The Work of Grace

The Work of Grace

I yield, let myself be led by the hand as she had. In the kitchen, she ladles us each a fresh cup of hot cider, then with a playful wink, opens the high cabinet over the stove and pulls out a bottle of cinnamon whiskey. Spiking each cup, Grace hands me one and holds hers up. Catching on, I tink the lip of my mug against hers. “To happy Christmases.” “May there be many more of them for both of us.” Grace raises the cup to her lips, smiling over it as she takes a sip.
