I AM YOURS TO PLAY

I AM YOURS TO PLAY

Chapter 90: Tangled Lies SARAH’S POV The fluorescent light in my apartment flickered, casting shadows across the peeling wallpaper, the air thick with the stale scent of coffee and despair. I paced the hardwood, my bare feet slapping, my pregnant belly straining against my tank top, my heart pounding with frustration. A week had passed since I’d spun my lies to the Caldwell’s, painting their foster son as the villain abandoning me and my baby, their eyes wide, their promises to rein him in ringing in my ears.

The Mute Gamer's Love Story

The Mute Gamer's Love Story

She couldn't understand sign language at all. I lowered my hands, pulled out my phone, and quickly typed a sentence. [I'm LeoWinter. The one whose ID has been linked with yours in the game.] My heartbeat quickened uncontrollably. Gaming was the one place where I could truly relax. And meeting AutumnWind had been the biggest reason I'd kept playing all these years. Would she be as excited as I was? Unable to stop myself, I looked toward Madison expectantly. But there was no excitement. No joy.

The Best Friend's Contract

The Best Friend's Contract

I've been reading a few romantic novels and I can't help but say that I'm hooked,'' He replies. Just like that, he starts to lay down on the grass, looking at the beautiful night sky as the stars shine brightly above us. As soon as he's laying on his back with a small smile plastered on his face, I begin to join him; right beside him. ''What if we play a game?'' I ask. He looks at me, ''I'm in. What kind of game?'' ''We, each, ask and tell one fact about ourselves. No lies. Just . . . our true selves. How does that sound?''

Finished this book in a jiffy! It was a good read. SHORT & SWEET! No unnecessary drama. Though it would be nice if the author mentioned what happened to the sexual harassment complaint. But m happy nonetheless!

Thanks for Playing, I'm Quitting This Game

Thanks for Playing, I'm Quitting This Game

Natalie…" I walked past him and continued on my way. This time, he didn't follow. When I reached the intersection, Ivy sent me a message. "Ms. Lawson, we're playing a mystery box game at tomorrow's team-building event. Are you coming? I heard everyone's guaranteed to win a prize!" Looking at those words, I smiled and replied, "I'll be there." The next day, I drew a small card at the company team-building event. It didn't say, "Thank you for participating." Instead, it read, "Today's Lucky Winner."

Congratulations dear author! Well deserved the rating, your amazing on your craft. Hope your other books will rate as well. “ How to Divorce a Grumpy Billionaire “ and “My Bully CEO Won’t Leave Me” are exceptional books of yours as well. (Wink)

To author:I was looking forward to your other books to read..but looking at comments grammar/pronouns then this discourages me fr your previous work which had 0 ratings.Even this book, had pronouns issue as u have mentioned u r non native English speaker.I truly hope ur other works can be fixed.

Four Can Play A Game

Four Can Play A Game

She continued advising me, still defending them. I shook my head. “No, I won't listen to their side of any stupid story. I'm sure my Auntie was right and whatever she told me was the truth. Can't you see it? Can't you see that underneath their bright smiles is a big lie? You see, All of them will die and when they do…" I stopped and sucked in a deep breath. “Maybe when I die in the future, I will listen to their stories in hell. I will make sure to send them all out of this world. I will end their lives.” I declared angrily.

Love Me Harder

3 is still gossiping. [STATES...] A man is facing the computer while playing his favorite game, Rules of Survival (ROS). While he is constantly playing, his guardian is constantly telling stories to him. "Some people know that you here because you were born ugly. They brought you here to have plastic surgery." Diego told him. "No! I don't have any plastic surgery. I will punch them all! Argh!" said the man angrily who was just facing the computer and focused on what he was playing. "They say you look like a monster. Hahaha!" it's still a story but it's obviously insulting.

Troubled Heart

Troubled Heart

I shuffled the deck of cards in my hands, feeling the worn edges glide smoothly between my fingers. The fire crackled behind me, casting a warm glow across the room, but I barely noticed. I focused on Makayla, watching me with cautious curiosity from the other side of the small coffee table. “All right,” I said, setting the deck down. “We’re not just playing Go Fish. We’re playing Go Fish… and Tell.” Makayla raised an eyebrow. “And that’s different how?”

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.
