SniperShot

I try for my words to sound Stern but even I could hear the uncertainty drenched into my voice. “Of course.” Victor nodded as he approach me before leaning in closer. “If this was anyone else you would not have gotten away with this.” He whisper into my ear as I pass him. I figured that would be the case, but I was never one hundred percent certain; I couldn’t believe that he would let it go so far. Even with the death of his only son, until now. I had my suspicion before but I wasn’t in any position to ask questions. I grew up in this house. I learnt everything I know by slipping through these halls as a kid. I heard things for god-sake. I delivered those checks to the children’s home every

Possess Me: The Demon King's Mate

Possess Me: The Demon King's Mate

There was a good chance that he was just feeding off me to recharge. I pulled away at that thought, bringing the drink to my lips to hide the way my smile dropped. My heart tightened in my chest, and I glanced behind him to the stairwell. He waited patiently for me to walk ahead of him before following after me. I was beginning to hate this walk and the attic. It was the same thing everyday, and I was not getting any closer to an answer. The book I was reading was not as old as the one that had been stolen, but it was frail enough that I felt guilty touching it. My laptop was next to it, waiting for me to begin the endless task of translating for the day.

Great read! I could not put this book down once I started! I wish it was a little bit longer and more POV from the ML, but that’s just me being greedy not wanting the book to end! overall it was excellent!

This book was so good! I found it in the 90% off section, down to my last few credits and the first chapters were like hmmm okay let's give it a shot. I ended up reading the entire thing in one sitting. Definitely a great read!

Caged by the Demon

Caged by the Demon

Her eyes roamed in search of a place to hide the book where no one would notice it so that no one would think about taking it into their home. A little farther, there was a dusted shelf, quietly divulging that the shelf hadn’t been touched for long. Bella walked to the shelf and took out a random book from there just to empty the place, then she settled the black book in her hand slowly in the same place. She looked back and forth that no one had seen her do it. Bella felt like a thief, but it was perfect because reading this book quite helped her with the mood. She glanced at the book one last time and walked away from that place. Surprisingly, the book vanished from that place as Bella tur

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

The Beta & the jewel thief - book 6

At the end of the hall, we turned left only to be greeted with another hallway, but at the end of this one stood a double door with glass windowpanes. We walk through the doors and a man with pale hair and greying skin sits behind a desk. He looks up “He’s not happy you let the thief escape Twenty-Nine,” He says, with eyes that are the palest blue I have ever seen. “I brought him a present,” The man who kidnapped me says. “I will return to finish the job.” “That’s if he lets you live.” The man with blue eyes shakes his head. “Go see him, I will bring her in a moment. Let's see if you live or die first.”

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

The Heist of Hearts

The Heist of Hearts

The air reeked of street food, exhaust fumes, and decay, wafting from crumbling brick and rusty dumpsters. She paused, her eyes adjusting to the darkness. Then, she spotted the car idling at the corner, its headlights cutting through the darkness. Without hesitation, she approached the back door opened it and then she slipped inside. The familiar scent of leather enveloped her, mingling with the subtle tang of expensive cologne. Elena pulled out the small jade figurine. “As promised.” Gloved hand closed over the artifact, his fingers brushing hers for a fraction of a second. He turned the figurine over, inspecting it with a meticulousness that spoke of years in the trade.

The Luck Thieves

The Luck Thieves

] [She should have gone to grad school, then for her doctorate, met an equal, started a company…] [If only she'd known—they wouldn't have siphoned her luck piece by piece.] Through the commentary, I learned everything—the truth and the ending they had written for me. I was going to die. I was an orphan. In university, I'd met Tristan, who seemed honest and dependable. His parents had treated me like their own daughter, doting and proud. But it was all a façade. I had been chosen—selected. Tristan's father, George, possessed an old family secret, a method for borrowing another's fortune. Over generations, it had faded; now, it only worked on members of their own household.

Breaking the Alpha's curse

Breaking the Alpha's curse

“This is…” “The Book of Life,” he completed. “The one with Elder Thorne.” For a moment, everything around me faded as I stared at the book. This was the hope that everything we went through wasn't in vain. “How did you…” I tried to ask but I was too overwhelmed to complete my question. “I grabbed it before everything collapsed.” I stared at the book… at the burnt edges… at the ancient markings… at the weight of everything it carried. And for the first time since Liam disappeared, I felt hopeful and determined.

I ask. Nothing. My throat tightens as my nostrils tingle. I sniffle softly, trying to hold back the tears that I knew would escape me someday. I trace my hand back up along the bed and rest in under the pillow his head rest upon. My hand hits something hard. It felt like a corner. I lift my body up, resting on my elbow. I wrap my fingers around it and pull it out. It's a black book. It's his poetry book. He retrieved it. I splutter and let out a whimper. I press the book hard into my chest, I wanted it to be absorbed into me. My tears rolled and crept down my face and landed between the pages beneath and on my chest.

The Darkest Wolves

The Darkest Wolves

"Let's find out who has the damn book. That will answer everything." He dropped the crystal into a bronze bowl, placed the pink handkerchief beneath it, and lit three black candles. He opened his hands over the flame and spoke clearly: "Book of mine, lost from hand, Bound by spell and ancient brand. Who now holds you, thief or kin? Whose heart beats while your pages spin? Reveal to me, through fire and smoke, Break her lies, undo the cloak. From ink to skin, from soul to thread, Show who holds you in their bed.
