CHAMPAGNE FOR THE DAMNED {MxM}

CHAMPAGNE FOR THE DAMNED {MxM}

༒ ℑ𝔪𝔯𝔞𝔫༒ The truth didn't come all at once. It never does. It came in pieces, small details I didn't pay attention to at first, things that felt insignificant on their own but started to connect the more I noticed them. At first, it was just little things, things I could brush off if I tried hard enough. The way certain threats disappeared too quickly, the way people who had been loud, aggressive, ready to tear me apart suddenly went quiet.

he said. "It surprised me," Elian said. "When it arrived. I was expecting something — larger. A final scene with more architecture to it. More event." He paused. "But the novel insisted on the small thing. The kitchen. The light. The coffee. The person still asleep." He looked at his hands. "I think that's what staying actually teaches you. That the small thing is the whole thing." "The small thing is the whole thing," Dante said. "Yes," Elian said.

Three Little Birds

Three Little Birds

The water was magically warm. He kept singing into my ear. Every little thing is gonna be alright. It's gonna be alright now. My ever dreaded weakness rolled down my cheeks. I did not stop nor wipe them away. Mykel acted as if they were not even present, to begin with. Every little thing is gonna be alright. Woke up this morning Sit with the rising sun Three little birds pitched by my doorstep singing sweet songs

Accidentally Kidnapping The Don

Accidentally Kidnapping The Don

She may hate me for it, but I will love the moment just as much as the last everytime the baby is placed on her chest. As I start to work, my thoughts drift back to the book I’d been reading earlier. Those marked pages, the glimpses into Dhalia’s heart, remind me that love isn’t about grand gestures or expensive gifts. It’s about the small, everyday things—the moments that might seem insignificant to others but mean everything to the person you love.

loving both books. but in the second book, the chapter Her Weirdness and A Suprise are the same and there's a chapter missing. I'm guessing A Suprise is the chapter that's a duplicate and the proper chapter is the missing one as you miss what keeley tells her. can this be made right please

I still don’t think I had fully processed I was burying my daughter tomorrow; I know I had more time with her then most father’s ever get with their daughters, but when you think you will live forever and there is always more time, you tend to take things for granted, having Esther here had put that in prospective for me now more than ever before. “How after all these years, do you still appreciate the little things?” I questioned Esther looked at me surprised “It isn’t always easy, especially considering my age but I try to remember any moment could be my last, so I try very hard to not leave things unfinished and I tell myself everyday that it is the little things that make up a lifetime.

“No one here forgets how small kindness goes. In this house, small things get noticed. You will find it’s the little mercies that hold everything together.” Elena chewed the scone slowly, thinking of Ethan and how small mercies—an extra blanket, a joke at the right moment—had kept him going through bad days. “My mom used to say the same thing,” she murmured. “She taught me how to make lasagna even when there wasn’t much. Little things count.”

Not The  Man She  Wanted

Not The Man She Wanted

I think you simply wake up one morning and you understand that it is time to go home and you go. I will know when I know. Until then: tell me about Jo. What she is doing. What she has decided about leaves and pinecones and buttons. Whether she has added words to Mama. What she thinks of the lake. Tell me ordinary things. I have been learning that ordinary things are the ones worth paying attention to. I am not yet good at asking for them. Consider this practice. — F. P.S. Three hundred and forty-one days. I count every morning. Some mornings the number is the first thing that tells me who I am.

The Rich Cinderella

The Rich Cinderella

She would wake up crying and would be relieved when she realised that it was just a dream. When things got tough she would just look at the stone and imagined her life would shine like that one day. She would lift the stone up and recite a little prose they used to sing at the lower primary level in her school. The verses would go like this " twinkle twinkle little star, how I wonder what you are! Up above in the world so bright, shining like a diamond in the sky. Then she would turn the stone up and down in every directions. It would sparkle like the rays of the sun. The rays would bring hope to her.

Thee And Me

Thee And Me

His young voice slowly walked through the words that didn't have any meaning then- not like they did now. "It is not now as it hath been of yore;- turn wheresoe'er I may, by night or day- the things which I have seen, I now can see no more." The tiny flame was barely enough for him to make out the tarred words, but it was just enough to make the freezing nights a little warmer and the sour tasting days a sliver sweeter. The air was musty and tainted, but it was a common occurrence now. "The rainbow comes and goes, and lovely is the rose. The moon doth with delight look round her when the heavens are bare, waters on a starry night are beautiful and fair..."

Bookworm Little.

Bookworm Little.

Little me was in desperate need for love and affection, she was praying Kennedy and Robert would be a mommy and daddy. Finally came the cake, it was a chocolate cake, what little would say no to a chocolate cake, I had a generous slice that I devoured happily. Next was opening of presents for Robert he had some good ones and others he just closed back the box and gave his friends the third finger making me giggle. I stayed silent watching him open all his gifts giving thanks to each one for the none offending ones, lastly was Kennedy’s gift, it was the book she got from my job. He must he a bookworm like me. My little side wanted him to read me bed time stories.
