The Twins He Never Knew

The Twins He Never Knew

of the Fourth Verse tried to overwrite her, something else woke up. Inside her sat the Memory of the Iron-Blood and the Lament of the Still-World. She had the voices of the machines and the ghosts of the muted within her. She didn't play a melody to counter Sterling. She played the "Error." She hummed a note that was intentionally off-key. She thought of the time Kael had failed a chapter; she thought of the grief of the "Twins He Never Knew"; she thought of the way a rose smells when it’s rotting.

The Alpha King's Heart

The Alpha King's Heart

But his melancholy eyes could not be hidden even with his desperate disguise. There was an awful sadness in this room and a gloom that imprisoned his heart. An eternal memory was hidden somewhere. There, in the room adjacent to him. In there was hidden his macabre past. This night’s experience was intended to be a pathetic distraction to his meaningless life. She thought quickly and sat up in bed. Her appetite was gone. How could she delight in inflicting pain, in feasting on someone

Okay, I saw this book and was enamored by the book cover and title. I was like, check this out and when I did, I went straight to the synopsis! Oh my God!! it's been a while I felt this jittery and emotional reading that last sentence. I'm diving into this, as I already know i won't be disappointed

The Devils Game

The Devils Game

Everywhere. He looks so majestic whilst his lost in a trance playing this melody humming in the air. His fingers gracefully pressing the black and white keys. As I hide behind the wall I recognize the music's playing. It's the sound of pain and sorrow. Heartache and loss. He plays the piano with his fingers that weave with sadness that could never be described. The tune is soft, watching him closely in this vulnerable moment. The atmosphere is calming, built with sorrow as darkness slowly consumes the light.

Cherished Hatred

Cherished Hatred

It was pathetic of me to remember what I used to be because those moments and life have been a past memory long ago and there’s nothing which could save me from the upcoming mayhem. “I guess it’s the reason I could never give Leonel a chance, what happened at the Raymeyer is still stuck on my mind and nothing could compensate for the fright residing in my soul,” My lips quivering, falling into depression. I couldn’t bear it, it’s dripping to my core like a slow poison. “Lucille..” “Once.. Only once..” An empty smile came to my lips, staring at the clear sky with the Moon, no star enhancing its beauty, a strange beauty dispersing in the air, compelling everyone to come out and the one who lov

Hey, I have read only a few chapters of it now and want to know more about it. I usually don't like these genres but previously I have read this author's Guilty Passion, and got to know about this genre and realized I loved it. It was an astonishing experience and I genuinely love reading this too.

Please, I wanna read more! Help me! I'm in love with male lead, he's so passionate about making his mate all his, and never let go. I don't even know much about it, sadly, but I would love to! Wish I could unlock more chapters, cuz I was so immersed, when I reached the locked chapter I was so sad.

The whole book was in Russian but one of the poems had writing in the outer margin: I still recall the wondrous moment: When you appeared before my sight As though a brief and fleeting omen, Pure phantom in enchanting light. In sorrow, when I felt unwell, Caught in the bustle, in a daze, I fell under your voice’s spell And dreamt the features of your face. Years passed and gales had dispelled My former hopes, and in those days, I lost your voice’s sacred spell, The holy features of your face. Detained in darkness, isolation,

Transylvania Academy: What It Takes To Be a Monster

Transylvania Academy: What It Takes To Be a Monster

As the filthy words of Reth repeated at the back of her mind, Maleficent could not help but thought: were all our sufferings because of this deranged person? Every step she took, the hallowness of her heart grew bigger and darker, swallowing her whole – making her fall into an endless cycle of the new meaning of misery, emptiness. With Maleficent's charcoal-black hair framing her disheveled look and tattered clothes around her scarred body, small flurry of gray cottony ashes dropped on her hair while her surrounding seemed to become quiet in her mind. Even her familiar seemed to grow silent or was it simply because she was being swallowed by her grievances?

A Divorce He Regrets

A Divorce He Regrets

I whispered, my voice trembling. The spot around me was quiet, too quiet. Nothing had changed here. It was still serene, calm, and yet it mirrored my sadness. The same feeling of despair I had carried the last time I came here. Sadness, disappointment, pain—it was all the same. The lake had seen me at my lowest moments, a witness to my struggles. I realized with a bitter laugh that I never came here to celebrate. No milestones, no moments of joy. This place only knew my grief.

Billionaire's Pregnant Ex-wife

Billionaire's Pregnant Ex-wife

I missed him so much that it hurt like hell to think I'll never hold him in my arms again. The sound of thunder shattered the silence inside the cemetery. My sentiments were cut short, and I looked up to discover the bright sun had retreated to its hiding place, breaking its promise of a beautiful day ahead. Heavy clouds were slowly making their way to the horizon, tainting the pristine blue sky with gloomy gray. It's going to rain soon, I thought to myself, feeling an even deeper sense of melancholy, and yet I made no move to walk away and escape the rain before it fell. It felt like my strength was temporarily sucked away from my body.

Roses and Gunfire: The Price of Devotion

Roses and Gunfire: The Price of Devotion

She feels like she's drowning in the abyss of darkness. The sun dipped below the horizon, casting long shadows across the field. Amethyst looked up, her vision blurred by tears. 'Maybe I'm not like a sunflower after all. Maybe I never was.' Amethyst then mockingly laughed to herself. She then said out loud, 'Maybe I am a lily of the valley, the negative and complete opposite of the sunflower. I feel like I can represent the negative meaning of the lily of the valley. Sadness, pain, loss, and even death.' She cried until she had no more tears left, the weight of her sorrow pressing down on her like a physical burden. As the last light of day faded, she stood up, wiping her face with trembling

My Cruel Alpha

I write every. Five Red Echo, memories Every "FREE! Is that it?" I have to be sure before I type in anything again. I read the poem again. Five fragile hearts are forever down Sunsets fade red, and darkness spreads Amidst the ruins of a love own Echoes of memories that refuse to go Fading every dream, and hope is blind Eagle eyes watch, moments of failure's mown I write down the rhyming words at the end of each line. Down Own Mown
