Poor Husband's Betrayal

Poor Husband's Betrayal

" Raisa listens carefully to the poems that have accompanied her loneliness, as if giving a special spirit to a sad soul. In the silence of the night, my heart was cut, An invisible wound, yet so deep. I search for meaning in every memory, But only find the debris of regret. O my bride, hear my hope, From the fragile remnant of my faith. I want our love to be as strong as coral, But don't let the longing be eroded by time. We walk the aisle of sorrow, Remembering the smile that once graced the face. Tears flow, erasing the footsteps, Yet the heart persists, despite the sorrow. This sadness is like a never-ending rain, Drenching the earth of the soul, soaking the fragile heart. Yet, in every

I Became His Sweetheart

I Became His Sweetheart

Perhaps she was trying to remain calm or was stunned, but she was staring straight ahead, as if looking at something… Melanie was neither stunned nor calm. She wasn’t sure what word to use to accurately describe what she was feeling right now. If she had to choose a word, it would probably be “desolate”. She felt her heart freezing up. A chill crept up from the bottom of her heart and slowly enveloped it, turning her beating heart into a block of ice. Ice covered her heart that was still struggling against the chill, covering up the excruciating pain that she felt all over, yet she couldn’t even groan…

Night Shift (ENGLISH VERSION)

Night Shift (ENGLISH VERSION)

It's really painful. All of my expectations had been dashed to pieces. They vanished once more, to be replaced by feelings of grief, jealousy, and deep melancholy. When my phone called, they had vanished from my sight, and I chose to ignore them. I got in my car and drove away, without knowing where I was going or when I would return. The discomfort is excruciating. I'm at a loss for words as to how the anguish in my chest will be relieved. As I pull up to my car and the sun begins to set, I smile.

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

The Prince Who Was Raised in Hell

If she went deeper, it would be beyond her limit last time. The surrounding chill made her feel that the whole world had lost its color. She couldn't remember anything worthy of happiness. Sorrow, fear, melancholy, despair, and all kinds of emotions gradually covered her whole heart like wild weeds. If it weren't for the bit of obsession in her heart, Gina Jones would have given up. She was like a drowning man who had completely given up struggling and sank into the sea. The surrounding coldness was like the sharpest steel needle at this time, making every pore and drop of blood painful.

What happened to the original writer of this book? The new writer is a far cry from the first one in terms of style, creativity, dialogue and story telling. He has turned a once very arresting story into a very boring one. It is sad.

The Elven Princess

The Elven Princess

"Well, I still have a much too love for the sung words, yes. But now I can certainly appreciate your views of prose. Poetry conveys something different to every single being. And I learnt it the hard way when I try to write one on a person's melancholia, and someone thought it was about the royal stables and how the horses are being treated." Aelanor chuckled. "Yes, that is one trouble I could never oversee. I also find it extremely difficult to find phrases that rhymes." "Poetry is not about their rhyming scheme, my child. It's more about what you are not able to express in words, either because you are afraid, or because words don't seem enough." "But poetry is composed of words, how can t

Enslaved to Zion

Enslaved to Zion

Music notes float through the evening air like dandelion seeds in a summer breeze. A sad melody fills the entirety of the room, making such a beautiful place feel almost empty, so lonely, and cold. My master looks defeated, just as I felt on the floor of the auction house when I found out that my father had been murdered. With my heart in pain for him, I wish I could comfort him somehow.

The Alpha's Moon Princess

"A glimmer of hope, can cause one to choke. The caress of a single tear, cracking glass in a mirror. Steady heartbeat, It's not to keep. Running so fast, away from the past. Silent in the night, sulking away from light. Chills from the cold, arms tight to hold. Sudden despair, this is fair. Mistakes made, choices to trade. Dreamless sleep, in way too deep. Faith falters, drowning waters. Screaming out, No one about. It is finally time, the soul doesn't shine. No more waiting, She is fading."

Good story but man I wish the Chapters didn't take so much to unlock since they are short. There's over 170 chapters at 25-30 a piece it will take over 4 months if I only use them from the free ones given daily. I read a book in a day or two when I purchase online....

Wife's Second Chance

Wife's Second Chance

Despair loomed over me, darkening my thoughts and flooding my heart with profound sorrow. Tears flowed uncontrollably, blurring my vision. Every memory with her spun in my mind, plunging me deeper into sadness. How unfair all this was; such a precious person was now lost, and I felt as if the world had stopped turning. All the pain and regret haunted me, and I knew my life would never be the same again. Serena's departure took part of me with it, and this sense of loss would forever be etched in my memory. I closed my eyes, hoping this was all just a nightmare that would soon end.

Her Reversed Time

Her Reversed Time

The crumble sound from the teardrops weren't able to hide the bitterness of the footsteps from the lonely soul—thy dress in pure white. I fathomed that every footsteps were concealed with deep meaning. She was walking and walking...and walking that I could memorized her figure from her long sunrise hair, dancing along with the unsteady wind so as the wavering dry leaves were wandering in the void space. Melancholy and a fainted pictures appeared before my eyes, memories that I didn't want to go back yet I didn't want to forget.
