Despair loomed over me, darkening my thoughts and flooding my heart with profound sorrow. Tears flowed uncontrollably, blurring my vision. Every memory with her spun in my mind, plunging me deeper into sadness. How unfair all this was; such a precious person was now lost, and I felt as if the world had stopped turning.
