Marriage For Revenge

Marriage For Revenge

She spoke up, "We usually say that I understand your feelings, but no one can ever understand someone else's feelings or pain. I will not say that I understand your pain but I will say that I have also gone through the same pain that you have gone through. Like you, I was once on the street, tired, hungry, and scared. There were many people around me, but even then, I was alone. They could have helped if they wanted to, but society would not appreciate them for helping an orphan child, so they didn't bother. They thought, why would they help an orphan with their hard-earned money? To them, it was a waste. A big loss. I have seen many children and old people die on the streets due to cold and

Reborn as the Wife He Killed

Reborn as the Wife He Killed

We’ve always believed: If we don’t change something now, then one day, you’ll grow up struggling just like we did, caught between privilege and poverty, never sure where you truly belong. At night, your mother (or father) and I often speak of you in hushed voices— Marcellus. Elias. We imagine you walking down the very main street we’re designing. We picture the new workshops, the schools flanking both sides. We dream of a life where you no longer have to confront the abyss behind this city— Where you don’t have to, like Edgar, pin hope on strategy and sacrifice.

Promises We Made at Seventeen

Promises We Made at Seventeen

That evening, as I close my notebook, I write one more line: If the work costs people their humanity, it isn’t done growing. And neither am I.

The pocket

The pocket

It spoke of vibrant cities, of advanced technology, and of a society that lived in harmony with its environment. Reading the book, we learned about a world that valued knowledge and creativity. The characters were complex individuals— heroes and villains, dreamers and pragmatists, each contributing to the tapestry of their complex society. It detailed the societal structures, innovations and artistic endeavors that shaped the world of Atheria. Their civilization had harnessed the power of nature in a way we could only dream of. The society’s advancements were juxtaposed with the simple pleasures of life - family and community. The stories, however fragmented, painted a portrait of a richer,

CONNECTION UNSEEN: A Love Story

However, amidst these hardships, there is a remarkable resilience and beauty that cannot be ignored. "As an artist, I believe it is our responsibility to use our platform to highlight social issues and spark conversations that can bring about positive change. I chose to depict slum life because I wanted to showcase the humanity, resilience, and strength that prevail within these communities. Behind the facade of poverty, I found stories of hope, love, and determination" "Love especially!"

Street Diaries

Street Diaries

In these streets it's the animal kingdom, if you're not a predator then you're the prey. This is what societal deterioration reduces men too, simple animals trying to survive. If you're not eating smaller animals then you are food for bigger ones. Then you start to believe that being cruel is the only option, a kind of impression that whatever is not you are definitely out to get you, Just like crabs in a barrel. All the while, the real enemies watch and get fat on your suffering and further enslave the coming generations even before they are born.

As the moon began to rust

As the moon began to rust

Short circuits, and crashing systems were pre-programmed. Andi grew up in the old world: in a time when people still met up with friends in order to talk, and would ask others instead of G****e for an answer to their questions. In his eyes, something has been wrong with society for ages. People have had, and wanted too much. They’ve bought and done too much, and far too much of it wrong, which is why, secretly, they were longing for less.

MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE

MARRIAGE OF CONVENIENCE

I wish I could do something about it. Unlike other people out their I’m not the one who wants to be marked and be with someone till they are alive there are other interesting things in the world like making a living, fulfilling your dreams, earning lots of money and according to me, it makes an individual weak because if the other one is hurt the first one can feel the same pain, bullshit I’m not interested in feeling what’s not even mine business to feel. People say that society matters a lot. We need to follow the norms of the society and work as per them. Otherwise, they will not accept us. It is very important for the society. They do not understand people and their situation. Similar wa

The Billionaire's Protector

The Billionaire's Protector

The symphony of compassion echoed through the town, inspiring a collective sense of empowerment and resilience. Buoyed by the success in the rural town, Nathan, Miranda, and Lisa turned their attention to urban neighborhoods grappling with the effects of poverty and inequality. They recognized that mental health disparities often intersected with socioeconomic factors, perpetuating cycles of distress and limited access to resources. They were determined to break these cycles and create pathways of hope for individuals in underserved urban communities.

Teaching her a lesson

Teaching her a lesson

She was unapologetically herself, uncompromising. Emerson writes that society is in conspiracy against its members, demanding that they surrender their liberty and conform. Conformity, I think he would agree, is the currency of conventional success, in all its mediocre glory. That was how I felt in those days. Like everyone around me only valued me for conforming to the ideal. I started resenting them for it. They'd hated me when I was heavy, and they'd hate me again if I broke from their stupid template. I know this sounds sort of pathetic, and yes some people had it way harder, being handicapped or retarded or whatever. The assignment is to relate a text to my life, though, so that's what

This book although taboo, brilliantly done. Original content and vividly described. Well paced. Thoroughly enjoyed and Im not even done with it yet. 30 chapters left. Def worth the read and def should be rated higher. Must be cuz of the subject matter though.

Really well-written, and very hot! It is so nice to read a book on one of these platforms without egregious spelling and grammatical errors! It lists this book as ongoing, but there haven’t been updates in a while. I would love more!
