Why was everything always so complicated for her? Memories quickly flooded her mind. Tragic, sad, and painful, the vast majority of them. Why is the world so full of us? Yes, the world was full of them, of the rejected, the excluded, of those who belonged nowhere. Those for whom to savor a simple bite of food was an odyssey, a duel of titans in which only the fastest, the strongest, or those whose ideas and determination were convincing enough, could opt for such a coveted and necessary prize. To whom society called vagrants for the simple fact of longing for or wishing for what they did not have.

Our teacher told us to write an essay about society, how it affects everyone. I simply stated that society today, is toxic and hypocritical. People always go with the trends and stick to the same things. They post inspiring quotes on how to maintain a positive and healthy life when they are also the ones who spread negativity. I know I am not one to talk. We all have our flaws, but some are trying their best to fix theirs. Society was not always of help. We drag each other down. It's also one of the many things that keep on causing my anxiety attacks and why I enjoy overthinking a lot.

Yet, like a canvas splashed with contrasting hues, the world perceived them through a distorted lens, misinterpreting their intentions and painting them as a figure of malice. As I delved deeper into this quagmire of paradox, I realized that the tapestry of perception was often stitched together by the needles of prejudice and preconceived notions. Society, with its intricate web of judgments, often cast its net wide, ensnaring even the most genuine of hearts. It was as though the world struggled to accommodate the coexistence of both light and shadow within a single entity.

As Sophia and Luke drove down the street, they couldn't help but feel like they had stepped into a different world. The buildings on either side of the street were run-down and in disrepair, a stark contrast to the sleek skyscrapers and bustling streets of the rest of the city. The air was thick with the smell of garbage and the sounds of people shouting and cars honking. Groups of people were gathered on corners, their clothing and behavior marking them as out of place in the otherwise upscale city. They could see evidence of poverty and neglect everywhere, from the boarded-up windows to the graffiti covering the walls.

The Society. Nobody wanted to be a pariah, being part of The Society meant you were somebody, you achieved something. The Society could chew you up and spit you out or make you raise to the top. Noble people were most welcomed and desired as everybody sought their companion and wanted to be noticed by an earl, baron or the duke. Recently new group of people has been added to The Society, the rich ones. Being a noble person doesn’t always equal to being wealthy. Quite often the nobles were on the verge of bankruptcy than marrying a nouveau riche might be a life saving matter, thus marriages of that kind occurred more often. Mr and Mrs Netherfells were an example of such marriage.

"We have the power to reshape our society, but it requires a collective effort. We must organize, mobilize, and persist in the face of adversity. Together, we can create a world that is fair, inclusive, and compassionate." Their words stirred the crowd, igniting a fire within the hearts of those present. People from all walks of life shared their stories, their grievances, and their hopes for a better future. Conversations filled the air, as individuals connected and formed alliances, recognizing that their collective power was greater than the sum of its parts.
