“Rueben?” Lazy, heavy lidded eyes met mine. My heart squeezed. “Does it still hurt badly?” He made a lazy, soft sound in the back of his throat as he nodded. Fuck. He looked like a mess!!! Any more of this and… and he might actually die!!! His right eye was ballooned shut, colored purple, black and a bit yellow but was healing, there was a big, jagged cut across his cheek and his upper lip had a big blood clot that had dried there….

I found myself on the floor. A sharp pain is banging on my left cheek .. not to forgot birds flying around my spinning head , he.. *tears* he ... *tears*. ...he slapped me My head is spinning and hurting because of the slap ...I am seeing dark spots infront of my eyes. I am feeling problem to breath through my nose so, I opened my mouth to breath properly and I taste the copper like taste ... I think my lips are also bleeding from the left side. I am panting and crying due to pain and on my helplessness.
