Pokemon Serena Novels & Stories

My chest tightened, a bitter taste rising in my mouth. As I stood frozen, the doors parted and Serena stepped out. She was no longer in her uniform, now she wore a short pink pleated skirt that swayed against her thighs and a crisp white shirt knotted at her waist. Pink sunglasses rested on her nose despite the hour, and her platinum hair cascaded in smooth, straight waves. In her arms, a small white puppy squirmed, barking at me as if it sensed my unease. “Come on, don’t just stand there gawking,” Serena’s voice was coated in sugar, but the smirk curving her lips gave her away. She tilted her head, the sunglasses catching the light as she turned. “You’ll get used to staring at what you can’

Others clawed at the ground, trying to flee the epicenter of destruction. Above it all, the First Howl writhed, its massive shadow-corrupted form blotting out the starlight. Its body pulsed with veins of dark energy, and its howl tore the sky itself apart. Serena stood at the center of the storm, her body glowing with fused power—silver light of the moon colliding with the violet fire of shadow. Her form was both wolf and something beyond wolf, her eyes twin orbs of stormlight. She could feel every heartbeat in the valley, every thread of fate pulling taut around her.

“Get the warriors ready. We move now.” As I walked out Elise’s voice met me, low, but dripping with poison. “You can’t save everyone, Derrick. Not the pack, not her, not that child.” I didn’t look back. The practice fields buzzed with activity, warriors honing blades and inspecting gear. But I couldn’t help staring at Serena, who stood at the edge of the clearing with Elder Kalia, the pack’s lorekeeper. Serena’s dark hair was pulled off her face and her green eyes were intent as Kalia led her through a series of motions. They were teaching her how to use that power Kalia said had run through human veins long before they experimented with werewolves; a link to some long dead lunar deity or so

“They’ll grow up to be warriors.” I slowly stepped forward, and the cubs turned their curious eyes toward me. One of them, a boy with big, bright eyes, runs up to me and tugs at my hand. “Who are you?” I crouch down. “I’m Serena.” The cub beams. “I’m Rian. Do you wanna play?” I hesitate, then glance at Luther. He is watching me closely, but his expression has softened. “Sure,” I say, smiling.

Serenity licked her lips as the man started. “You’re not drugged, you’re quite lucid actually and you’re not dreaming.” He watched for her reaction, before continuing, “You’re still Serenity Monaghan. Born July eleventh, nineteen-ninety-nine, in a dingy little rest stop bathroom, just outside Las Vegas; to Penelope and Frank Monaghan. You were left on the steps of Jasmine Lounge, a brothel in the red-light district of Santa Fe, New Mexico, at two days old. It’s where you first learned of your powers, at thirteen years old. You fled the brothel after that and have been on the run ever since. You still have blue eyes and blonde hair. You still have a nose piercing and a bad attitude… and you c

Pack members came to offer condolences, leaving tokens and gifts, though each gesture felt like a reminder of Serena’s absence rather than a balm to their grief. Serena’s sisters, **Elara** and **Maeve**, were inconsolable. Elara, always fiery and bold, struggled to contain her anger and took to the training grounds pushing herself to exhaustion as if she could channel her pain into strength. Her eyes constantly scanned the horizon, waiting for any sign of her sister’s return. Maeve, quieter and gentler, retreated into herself, her eyes dull with sorrow withdrew entirely, a shadow of her former self, her bright laughter replaced by a haunting silence. The loss of her older sister took a toll

Her body ached, but she persisted, her mind fixed on her friends and the world they were defending. “Lena, you have to let it flow through you!” Serina shouted. The energy clawed at her mind, whispering promises of power and destruction. But Lena pushed back, her love for Kaden and the others grounding her in reality. --- Just as the orb’s energy began to waver, Serina stepped forward, her expression twisted with determination. “What are you doing?” Kaden shouted. “This is the only way,” Serina said, her voice cold. “You’re too weak to finish it, Lena. But I’m not.”

Xavier held her back rubbing his hands and slipping to her waist. Anger surged within me, “You'll never get away with this." They laughed. "Oh, but we already are." I felt immense power surging within me, one which I had never felt almost like I was about to explode. Nyx growled my claws springing out. Their gaze dropped. “Xavier, what is happening?” Veronica asked in fear. “Go!” He yells out to Veronica. Their words made me angrier as I pulled harder on the ropes, the strange feeling getting more intense.

Serena found herself swaying almost imperceptibly towards him, drawn by some magnetic force she couldn't explain or resist. ‘Don’t be deceived by his good looks and sugar-coated tongue, Serena,’ she mentally chastised herself. But then somethings he said finally registered. "Wh-what do you mean by mates...and marking me as yours?" Serena finally found her voice again with her brow furrowing in confusion. Her earlier anger was now momentarily overshadowed by bewilderment. "And what's this about protecting me? Your powers being out of control?" The questions tumbled out in a rush, struggling to make sense of his strange words.
