Pokemon Serena Novels & Stories

I closed my eyes in deep anticipation. "Well, this is a very interesting training technique." A loud, mocking female voice interrupted the quiet silence. North stopped moving instantly. He pulled his head back quickly and looked over his broad shoulder. I turned my head to the side and looked toward the edge of the dirt ring. Serena stood there on the green grass. She had her arms crossed tightly over her chest. She wore a fitted red training top and short black pants. Her hair was pulled back into a high ponytail. She looked directly at us with a very clear expression of pure disgust on her face.

Something else, something older, something that's been waiting my whole life to wake up. I feel it through the bond. A surge of energy, raw, powerful. Coming from Serena, I turn. She's standing at the edge of the battlefield. Wounded, Bleeding, but her eyes are glowing, Silver. Not gold like a normal wolf, but silver like starlight. "Serena?" She doesn't hear me. She raises her hands, and the world holds its breath. I don't know what I'm doing. I just know I have to do something. The power rises inside me. Hot and cold at once, burning through every vein.

Serena fought with raw grief, her violet magic clashing violently against the corrupted versions of spells she once learned at Elara’s side. Every blast hurt more than the last. Kael tore through the lesser infected, roaring in fury every time one of the turned witches called Serena’s name. Damien moved like a shadow of death, protecting Serena’s blind spots while keeping a constant eye on her. “Serena!” Elara called again, launching a spear of black lightning. “Come home!” Serena screamed and countered with a massive wave of pure violet fire. The two spells collided in a blinding explosion that threw everyone back.
