The Pawn

The Pawn

Banging noises came from outside my walls and my brows quirked in confusion. I lived alone. Quickly, I stood, careful not to make a sound. I grabbed the gun I had illegally purchased after I noticed that I was being followed (twice). Flipping it out of the safety lock, I gripped the butt tightly, hiding it behind my back as I opened the door gently. The noise came again, the clacks and bangs of pots and pans sounding through the house. This thief obviously didn't go to stealing school. Cus what in the hell of unstealthiness was this noise?

THORNS

THORNS

Devon POV: I stared emotionlessly at the boy who gave me a sleepless night. I was more surprised, hearing this bastard of a man saying he was trading his son to pay his debt. Although, this was what I wanted to achieve, but seeing that he really did it in the blink of an eye got me so pissed that I was willing to snap his neck. I glared at him and turned my focus to his son, whose eyes stared wide-eyed at his crap of a father. I felt a string of pity for him as I watched him. He looked so fragile that he could break if touched.

The Dragon Thief

The Dragon Thief

I get her to her room, then make sure her maids are there to help her before I leave. My things have been moved to a different part of the castle since my bedroom was demolished. However, tonight, I walk into the room that used to be mine and I stare at the crumbled remains. My father must have been standing across from the egg. The only logical explanation is that the thief entered my bedroom to get the egg and my father confronted him. The thief has to be a rider, a silver rider, since it was a silver who destroyed my bedroom. Perhaps the rider called out to their dragon, knowing they’d been caught and the dragon destroyed the room to save them.

The Dragon Prince's Thief

The Dragon Prince's Thief

Honor of the Thieves, he would tell me. I didn’t regret, never in my life, not once about what I had done. It was my survival, and this was a cold, cruel place to live alone as a girl, without a dragon — I was only fourteen when my father left and my dragon came to me four years later—with a little brother, and I had to lie and cheat and trick to survive. And I survived. But now, I had to do what was necessary, not just for myself, but for my mate, too and for what was his, his realm, and I would do it.

Vera and Mateo are my OTP. Books should have men like Mateo. No abuse, no Rejection and no weak characters that makes you want to stop. Every page is filled with flirty banters, sweet and steamy moments and mystery that unfolds throughout the book. This book shouldn't be missed. something different.

Strong leads but also strong sub-characters whom you want to get their own books so you can get to know them too. ...

The Luck Thieves

The Luck Thieves

Through the barrage, I watched it all unfold in real time. [Tristan lost everything he got from pawning the locket and bangle!] [He's on a losing streak—he'll never dig himself out of this hole!] [Now he's in debt to the casino for millions!] In the end, with no way to pay, the casino sold him to a scam compound in a foreign country called Melaynmere. With his legs crippled, Tristan was forced to use his hands to run phishing schemes. His very first target was me. "Honey, I've hit the jackpot! Let me buy you a ticket. Come join me, and we can live in luxury together!"

He has always been my voice of reason. He is also the reason that we joined the Thieve's Guild recently. He knew that with us stealing just enough to survive we would eventually get caught. If we were to join the Guild though, they would protect us. They would help us thrive and we would not have to constantly try avoiding their attention in the streets. If you can't beat them, join them right?

The CEO's Thief

The CEO's Thief

It was a Rolex, worth at least $60 000. Never in my three years had I ever been caught. Because I was skilled. Because I was smooth and I went undetected. And because I never made anything personal. But it is all bound to come to an end sooner or later. Too bad, it turned out to be sooner. I felt a hand harshly grip hold of my arm. I turned in panic and saw the man I was stealing a watch from, boring his eyes into mine. ”I like my watch. And I'd like to keep it.” I gulped. This had never happened but the guys said that if ever I did get caught, just pretend like it was a mistake.

Dark Dragon

Dark Dragon

She pouted just a little when he stomped it on the deck, then threw it over the balcony. “I, I was just, I,” she stumbled over her words, completely stunned at the gorgeous man glowering over her. “Well,” he tapped his foot impatiently, as if he were dealing with a child. “It helps my nerves,” she finally stuttered. “And what is that?” Drago gestured to her dog, who was still snoring away, unfettered by the handsome doctor’s presence. “Oh, that’s Thor, my mastiff,” “Mastiffs are good guard dogs, from the time of the Romans,” Drago said thoughtfully.

I love this book! The story is very captivating! My only complaint is that some chapters are repeated and some excerpts of chapters are repeated, causing you to pay more than what is worth. But that isn't on the author and should be fixed by Good Novel.

I gotta give the author mad props. I mean I’m flying through this book like mad. I know the story is ongoing but come on board. So find a comfortable spot and your favorite drink and get lost in this. Oh don’t forget your blanket my house is cold. They have the air WAY TO LOW

The Glory Thief’s Fall

The Glory Thief’s Fall

However, the intern reporter immediately sensed something was wrong, so she secretly recorded everything. That very night, an article appeared on a local Brookhaven forum with the headline: "The Inspirational Girl Who Claimed Her Cousin Hid Her Admission Ticket Actually Stole Her Cousin's Score". The piece maintained a remarkably level-headed tone, focusing on presenting a clear sequence of facts. Firstly, Naomi Gibson's actual exam score wwasn't the one she'd implied online. Secondly, the real guest of honor at the party should have been Stella Morrow who never showed up at the event.
