We waited patiently until she opened her eyes. “This guy here is a fool,” Dawn said pointing at Tumult. “What do you mean?” I asked.

Ash kneeled just as the child gazed at him. The child couldn't take it anymore as her face scrunched up and big tears started to fall from her already beet red eyes. She threw little punches on Ash as the latter finally gave in and allowed himself to cry as he hugged her in an attempt to provide some comfort.

Dawn Verlice was mad, she was very, very mad, she saw red as she entered the door with a bang. Ashely did not stop her at all, her presence grabbed Bryan’s attention and Jayden’s as well. She runs along the border, only stopping when she catches the scent of Aurora Flame. A dark figure stands near the border. Ash takes a fighting stance, but the figure holds his hands up in defeat. She growls as he moves closer to us. The figure steps into the moonlight, sending relief over Ash and me.

Just then, a small head peeked through the suffocating smoke. “Madam, do you need any help?” someone asked timidly. I forced my eyes open and saw a young boy who was about the same age as my son. He was covered in ash and dirt, but his eyes shone brightly through the smoke. He was so small in size, yet he managed to muster the strength to help me up. Then, together, we slowly made our way outside. The path to the outside was incredibly challenging, and I felt like giving up several times.
