Ground beef patties smothered in some kind of creamy sauce, and a mountain of crispy roasted potatoes and carrots. “Eat!” She snapped. “And then you take her home. I’ll have Sunny help me finish up.” Sunny was a teenage girl who lived nearby. She was too young to work in a tavern, but Poppy sometimes hired her to do odd jobs. “Yes ma’am.” While I was talking, Kevin had already started digging into the food. “You know I’m supposed to test it first!” I hissed under my breath.

Elvie knew that Andrew had a weakness for chocolate cake and matcha coffee, so she decided to make her move at a local café. She ordered a slice of chocolate cake and a cup of matcha coffee, making sure to discreetly add the potion to both. As the liquid potion blended into the coffee, it took on a faint greenish hue, almost imperceptible to the naked eye.

The woman looked offended, “I live here, so it’s mine.” “Malcom Murray brought me here.” Poppy sighed, “I’m trying to get home.” “You American?” The woman squinted at Poppy as if sizing her up. “Yes?” Poppy had no idea what this was about now. “So you’re that Poppy.” She nodded to herself for a moment. “Well, I guess that makes my job a little easier.” Poppy had no idea what the lady was talking about until she whipped out a small, hollow stick and brought it to her lips.
