I grinned. Rina snorted. “I’m a little annoyed by people trying to turn classic literature into horror shit.” Kimi and I looked at her in surprise. “So, you prefer pure horror?” I asked. Rina rolled her eyes. “Have you met your sister? She’s all about the jump scares and psychological thrillers.” I wrinkled my nose. “So is your brother. I’m not going to lie, Blood and Chocolate and Warm Bodies were a compromise. As was Shaun of the Dead.”

It infuriated Cassy more—with the night that’s the homecoming of the ghosts and horrors. A wicked laugh itched to be out, instead, she scrutinized the height. The distance between her and the ground did not harrow her. It amazed her at how different she’s lurking around where the normal people might not even stare without a wave of nausea washing over them. An urge to smoke-filled her; she fetched a pack from the inside pocket of her dark blue jacket; ignited the flame, mumbling, “Every legendary story is a pent-up frustration of human beings to invoke fear in the minds of those whom they hate. He rarely leaves the coven back then because a witch is pretty useless without his magic. The last creatures, and probably the ones with the least regard for morality, are the vampires. The undead. Vampires have always been the topic of the bedtime stories to scare the children in the coven. Growing up, Hiro had heard all of what they could do, how they did it. And he knows every word of it is true. Vampires are ruthless, they fear no gods nor goddesses. Once the daytime fades and bleeds into nighttime, they terrorize the city with their fangs and bloodlust.

’ I handed her the leftovers and left her alone. ‘Aren’t you going to eat?’ ‘I have lost my appetite.’ ‘Morning chomee.’ Anna greeted me the next day. ‘I’m sorry for arguing with you last night. It is just that I have heard horrible stories about people disappearing without a trace in this God-forsaken city and I worry a lot about you. You and I are like sisters.’ ‘Come on friend, God-forsaken? It is not that bad; you just need to get used to it.’

Each volume of Strange short stories will have 3 medium-sized stories and about 10 short stories. The Pitts, with their unique ability to assume the forms of vampires, werewolves, and even different humans, made it nearly impossible for the authorities to discern the true nature of the attacks.

I don't even have his number! "Hello? Who's there?" I whispered. It was like a horror movie. The girl in the forest screaming and running for her dear life. Maybe it is Jordan. He is a douchebag but can he pull such a stunt just to scare me? One thing I learned from the horror movies I watch is never to scream and run so I backed away and tried to be in the shade because the moon was up and bright. I don't want to be spotted or watched by who may or may not be my predator.

You could say that there are no ghosts in the world, and I could agree with you, but some people said that there are no werewolves in the world and we know for sure that they are, so… never say never. “I hate this place,” Sam said and looked around. “So many stories , horror stories that I get goosebumps just thinkin' about it.” “ I chose this place exactly for that.
