The Forsaken
“The glamour portal is not forgiving. It senses desire, memory, even fear. It will tempt, trick, and trap. Many who enter… never leave of their own accord.”
“What kind of portal?” I demand, my hands shaking. “What tricks? How does it work?”
Thalia steps closer, voice sharp. “Wait…so this is real? Fairies, portals… illusions? I thought we were done with magic today!” She glares at Morgana, but there’s fear in her eyes too.
Morgana nods. “Yes, it is real. And yes, it is dangerous. The portal reflects what you most desire, what you most wish were true. It can make someone forget reality entirely, convince them that leaving is impossible, or even undesirable.”
