The first location was a warehouse complex northwest of the river. Three buildings around a central yard. Chain-link perimeter, security cameras positioned for vehicle entrances, which meant the roof approaches were completely uncovered. She walked the perimeter with Deluca six feet behind her, not directing, just present, while she mapped the dead angles with her phone.
"Middle building," she said. "Skylights?"
"Four."
She studied the roofline. Shallow pitch, enough texture for purchase. A person in the right footwear could cross from the east corner to the third skylight in forty-five seconds, staying below the ridge the entire way.
