Further to Fall in Love

Further to Fall in Love

“Yeah. It will be.” “NOW THIS IS FUCKING AWESOME.” JIM GOES TO THE EDGE OF THE ROOFTOP, MAKING MY ANXIETY shoot up, and looks out over the city. There is a patio on the roof of my building, and while it’s usually occupied, we’re some of the only people up here right now. “It is. But, uh, can you come away from the edge?”

Leading My Family to Glory

Leading My Family to Glory

Then, he lifted Pawn up as he looked at Tyr and the others on the opposite building’s rooftop. “Bye-bye...” Mouthing those words, Spectre forcefully flung Pawn off the rooftop. The rooftop Spectre was standing on was the eighth floor of the building. If Pawn was tossed down from this height, he would suffer a definitive death. “F*ck!” When Tyr, Chasing Wind, and the other agents witnessed the scene, all of them were frozen. The two buildings were separated by a highway. There was no way for Tyr and his peers to rush over to save Pawn. Meanwhile, Pawn was rapidly falling through the air, and was about to hit the ground.

Marry Me, Madison

Marry Me, Madison

This bastard… “Anyway, you should see if he’s in the building. Gavin had a habit of staying there for a while before leaving. I shouldn’t say this but you looked like you haven’t seen him for a long time for you to ask me.” “What is it?” I got curious. Is he going to tell me that Gavin has a woman? “I’ll repeat, he has no mistress…” … Is he a mind reader or something? “But he has a room in the office that looks like an apartment. He used to live there every time he had a pile of work. He also has this spot on the rooftop where he like to go.” Apartment? Rooftop? “Since you sounded like you're going there, when you arrived at the rooftop, you’ll see a big open space where the lake is, go ther

OUR MOON HAS STRINGS

OUR MOON HAS STRINGS

"Come with me; there's somewhere I want to show you." As usual, Valery had much to say when he took her upstairs. There was a fourteen-layer staircase on the last floor and another door locked out of students' reach. Derrick fished out the key from a bunch and got it unlocked. A gentle breeze caressed their cheeks when the door was pushed open. They had stepped onto the rooftop of one of the tallest buildings on the premises. Valery was greeted by the horizon and a first-class view of the community. It stretched far beyond what her eyes could see, almost like spying on everyone in a relaxed way.

The Don's Property

The Don's Property

When the doors finally slide open, I brace myself for the whipping wind of the skyscraper’s roof, but the wind doesn't hit me. Instead, I’m hit with warmth. And the smell of... butter popcorn and vanilla? I step out, and my breath catches in my throat. The helipad is gone and in its place is a world that shouldn't exist seventy stories up. Nero has enclosed the center of the roof in seamless, floor-to-ceiling glass panels. It’s like a transparent jewel box in the sky, blocking the biting wind but leaving the view of the city lights and the stars perfectly clear. Tall patio heaters glow in the corners with a soft orange light over the space.

The Pleasure Directive

The Pleasure Directive

“Not a party. Just… us. Acknowledging that it happened. That we’re not there anymore.” He nodded slowly. “Okay,” he said. “What do you want to do?” She thought about it. About all the places that had defined them. Penthouse. Warehouse. Courtyards. Clinics. Hotels. Balconies. “Outside,” she said. “Stars. No walls.” He smiled faintly. “I can manage that,” he said. *** The rooftop was technically off‑limits. Insurance reasons, according to Dima. Which meant it was perfect.

Let Me Go, Ex Husband!

Let Me Go, Ex Husband!

Orchard’s POV The evening air was cool as I climbed the steps to the rooftop. My body felt heavy, like each movement required more effort than it should. The door creaked as I pushed it open, revealing the quiet sanctuary that had always been my retreat. The rooftop wasn’t much to look at, it was a simple flat space bordered by a rusty railing. A few old chairs sat scattered around, one missing a leg, the other barely standing. The city stretched out in front of me, endless and alive.

Pucking Forbidden Claim

Kade POV I glance at Rook. His arms are still crossed, his expression unreadable, but I know him. He’s watching, waiting, trying to figure out where the hell I’m taking him. When the car stops, I step out first, breathing in the cool night air. The spot isn’t anything special on the surface, an old, unfinished building with exposed concrete and an open rooftop that overlooks the entire city. No one comes up here, no one even thinks about it, which is why I keep it for myself.
