Broken by One, Desired by All

Broken by One, Desired by All

The predator had become the prey. The tables had turned. I whispered, a dark, dangerous grin spreading across my face, "My turn to use lesson one." Triumph and something darker… something predatory rose in my chest. This was what victory tasted like. I didn't give him a single second to recover. I lunged through the dissipating smoke, my movements completely synchronized with Fenrir's predatory instincts now. We moved as one, hunter and prey, instinct and intention merged into perfect harmony. The copy tried to raise his hands to defend himself, but exhaustion had made him slow.

I usually don’t do reviews however I feel like this book may get overlooked. I didn’t know how I would feel reading this book at first but the author has a fantastic way of writing which is easy to read and picture. I think the romantic relationships in this book is more tasteful than I expected!

Wife for Hire: Marrying My Ex-Husband's Boss

Wife for Hire: Marrying My Ex-Husband's Boss

“I am the moon to your night, Linnea. You may often not see me shining but I assure you, I am always there to brighten your darkest of times.” “Indeed, we fit together like puzzle pieces,” I got it out and she devoured my flesh as if she was the predator. “Let me be your prey, my love.” So she did. She climbed on top of me, exposing her beauty and graceful nakedness. I am cornered by my beautiful predator. How could I resist? “You are the triangle and I am the circle,” she murmured between my lips as his eyes glanced at the wholeness of my flesh.

SOLD TO THE WEREWOLF KING

SOLD TO THE WEREWOLF KING

"You will not leave it. You will speak only when I tell you to. You will look him in the eye, and you will show no fear." He took a step toward me, closing the distance. The air crackled, thick with the promise of violence and the thrum of the bond. "This is no longer a game of politics, Elara," he growled, his voice a raw whisper. "Vorian is not like Silas or Lyra. He is a predator who enjoys the hunt, and he has just caught your scent." He reached out, his fingers not touching me, but hovering just beside my cheek, close enough that I could feel the heat of his skin.

The Reluctant Alpha and His Sassy Queen

The Reluctant Alpha and His Sassy Queen

"Fucking predator." Her eyes dropped to the food...beautifully plated, steaming, fragrant...but her appetite had vanished. Mira leaned closer and mind-linked her, amusement laced with warning. ...If staring were fucking, you’d already be sore. Scarlet barely stopped herself from snorting. ...Shut up. This is not funny. ...It kind of is. He’s practically undressing you with his eyes. Scarlet’s jaw tightened. She forced herself to lift a fork. Then the Lycan spoke.

Loving a Selfish Lycan

Loving a Selfish Lycan

I kneeled on the floor at his feet, pants around my ankle, and his cum down my chin, while he kissed another woman with his dick out and already hard again. I wiped my mouth as tears fell down my cheek. Was this another game? Did he know they were there? I pulled my pants up and ran from all of them laughing at me. He said he would choose me. Was that a lie? I wanted to believe he acted as he did to keep his father from harming me. He dated Cynthia for years, but they both took other lovers. I knew Blake had an insatiable need, especially being a Lycan. He always said I was his favorite and spent most of his free time sneaking off to the woods with me.

His Daisy

His Daisy

I scream, breathing loudly. He stands up like a predator, "you're one stubborn bitch aren't you?" he tsks, "I was being lenient with you" he shakes his head in disappointment. His predatory eyes is fixated on my form, making me shiver in fear. Within a blink he runs towards my direction, I don't waste my seconds either and run towards any direction I could.

The Daddy’s plaything

The Daddy’s plaything

I bowed slightly at him, and I fumed to Gabrielle, roughly grasping her up to my eye level. "Ouch!" She shrieked in anguish, trembling in my palm which enfold her arm. I felt like tearing her into slivers, and making her feel the endearing pleasure of pain voyage through her smooth porcelain skin! My cold tyrannical face glared directly at the black blindfold which was bound around her eyes, and I hungered to shred it down into zero, and behold the devilish orbs of my ENEMY. I was the PREDATOR, and she was my PREY.

My Lycan Boyfriend

My Lycan Boyfriend

Lucas looked a bit despondent, but it was difficult to tell because the sadness was like a snowflake falling in summer, melting into the swirling passion in his eyes without any trace. "She predicted that you could be my mate. I was really disappointed at that time because I didn't want to get married to a human being. Unlike my father, my mother has always been an ardent supporter of cross-species marriage. That's why I thought she made things up to encourage me to get married to an ordinary human girl. But it turned out that her prediction was real. You're indeed my mate." "I can't believe Leah and Jackie are werewolves. I mean, I've never seen them change into wolves...." I shoveled all t

My Unexpected Lycan Mate

My Unexpected Lycan Mate

“I also plan on using what I’m learning here against Craig as payback for taking Linda.” Before he could respond, she ran toward him and aimed a kick to his stomach. He dodged out of the way before she could land her blow and grabbed her leg, pushing her to the side. She stumbled as she turned around but didn’t fall. Steadying herself, she ran toward Arec again. This time, she aimed a punch toward his face, and when he dodged her fist, she plunged her other fist into his stomach. He doubled over as the breath left his body, then growled at her, his eyes turning yellow before he shifted into his Lycan form, towering over her.

The Alpha Kingpin's Fixation: Auctioned To The Enemy

The Alpha Kingpin's Fixation: Auctioned To The Enemy

He advances, and each step is measured, deliberate—the stalking of a predator honing in on its prey. This isn’t the Bastien who watches me with veiled hunger, who murmurs ‘good girl’ and makes my heart flutter. This is his beast; the Alpha in its rawest form, and I am in his sights. His growl, a sound that seems to echo off the penthouse walls and reverberate within my chest. It’s a predatory sound, one that has my pulse skittering and my instincts screaming at me to run. So I do. My feet carry me faster than I knew they could, away from him, away from those eyes that now promise a chase, a hunt. I can hear him behind me, the predator to my prey, a role I never anticipated playing.

This author truly never misses! Easily one of my top 3 favorites artists on here. Every story is captivating and well written from beginning to end. I hope you’ll be back on here & writing new stories soon & that everything’s ok, J Tarr. As always, nicely done! Anxious for what’s to come :)

As usual JT, is a brilliant writing- This I was waiting for. It would be nice to get a description on what the leads look like also. Less narration of the scene & feelings & more dialogue! The leads rarely interact or even converse! I hope it picks up it’s pace as it’s dragging a bit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Alien predator stories that genuinely unsettle me always seem to weave the horror into the psychology of the hunt itself, not just the gore. There's a particular piece floating around the 'Predator' fandom archives, an unofficial sequel to 'Prey' that follows Naru's granddaughter. The horror crystallizes in how the Yautja ritualizes its stalking, treating the human characters not as mere prey but as subjects in a grotesque performance art piece. The terror isn't just in the jump scares—though there are plenty—but in the slow, dawning realization of being curated, of every survival instinct being observed and cataloged for sport. The atmosphere borrows from cosmic horror, suggesting the hunting grounds are just one facet of a vast, amoral ecology.

Another narrative that left a mark was a crossover that dropped a single Predator into the universe of 'Dead Space'. The blend works because both franchises share a DNA of industrial claustrophobia and body horror. The fic smartly pits the Yautja against the Necromorphs, creating a horrifying triangle where the human protagonists are trapped between an honorable hunter and a force of pure, transformative decay. The horror elements amplified when the Predator's own technology, its cloaking device and plasma caster, began to malfunction and mutate after contact with the Marker's signal. The real fear stemmed from the corruption of a known, almost understandable order—the Predator's code—by something utterly incomprehensible.

What makes these stories effective is their focus on perspective. The best ones often shift viewpoints between the human quarry and the alien hunter, but never fully elucidate the Predator's internal world. That sliver of ambiguity, that refusal to fully anthropomorphize, is where the lasting chill resides. The ending of that first story I mentioned stays with me precisely because it doesn't offer catharsis; it concludes with the faint, heat-blurred outline of another ship entering the atmosphere, observed by a survivor too traumatized to even register it as a new threat, just a continuation of the nightmare. The hunt never really ends, it just moves to new grounds.
