In Defense of a Murderer

In Defense of a Murderer

Clenching my fists, I fired back, "What evidence do you have to say that it's my mother who's trying to file a fraudulent claim?" Snorting, Gigi replied, "So what if we don't have any evidence of that? We're not here to prove your mother's guilt today." Frowning, the judge warned us to maintain order in court. When it was time to read the verdict, I felt as though my heart was being squeezed. Alas, Gigi was declared innocent due to insufficient evidence.

Broken Innocence

Am I falling for him! No...Never! I can't love this man. I can't love a person who has humiliated me that much. I can't love a person who has taken advantage of my helpless situation. I am just waiting for that day when Asif will be fine and Adeel bhaiya will be proven innocent. After that, I will be freed from all those humiliating situations. A very good book and what impressed me is that the author put effort in writing 2 ending as people like me go for the realistic one but teenagers still want happy go lucky stuff .it was a refreshing dark experience i crave so thankyou very much ...️

I love the story and both endings, but you could have combined both with Meher making a name for herself independently, then introducing Sehreyar to the Mehmet and giving him a chance to be a father and better person. she got her justice but she became the devil by taunting him and taking his kids.

And I’m not just saying that because I love him.” Saying those words out loud made my heart twist. It was the unfiltered truth . “I know him. He’s a good man. He has literally spent most of his life building that company, pouring his entire soul into it. He wouldn’t do something careless to throw all of that away. Someone’s framing him, I’m sure of it. We just… we can’t figure out w

Joan Dare scoffed a little and started her plea, “Your Honor and ladies and gentlemen of the jury; under the law, my client is presumed innocent until proven guilty. During this trial, you will hear no real evidence against my client. You will come to know the truth: that the first defendant Amber Banks was at the crime scene but was not involved in the murder of Liam Smith and that the second defendant, Anson Banks merely acted out in defence. Therefore my clients are not guilty.“ Anson was called to the witness stand next and as he got up on his feet, Amber raised her head slowly to meet his eyes, her face ashen with hurt. Anson’s breath caught in his throat as he mouthed the words, “It’s
