Just as you described.” Jasmine reached for it, but he pulled it back, his fingers brushing hers. “You know, I’ve been wondering something,” he said, his voice dropping to a low murmur. “Why does a girl like you care so much about a book? You don’t seem like the type to get worked up over something so trivial.” She glared at him, her cheeks flushing. “It’s not trivial. It’s important to me. Now, can I have it?” He took a step closer, his presence overwhelming.

Jane twirled in front of the mirror. Emma beamed with pride. “You look stunning, Miss Jane. Mr. Bank might have a nosebleed seeing you this beautiful,” She teased. Jane's cheeks immediately flushed, her eyes drooping. She doesn’t know when she started looking forward to the marriage. Maybe her experience in Los Angeles made her rethink about her life, or it was something else. She started looking forward to meeting her fiancé. Though life disappointed us sometimes, we still had to pick ourselves up. In Jane’s situation, she had accepted her fate.

But then, with a resigned sigh, she nodded. "Alright, Nick," she said, her voice barely above a whisper. "I'll give you a chance to explain.” __ From the moment Jane opened the door to her house, I couldn't help but be captivated by her. Every movement she made seemed to flow with a grace and elegance that was uniquely her own. The way she moved through the room, the gentle sway of her hips, the subtle flick of her hair, it was like watching a beautiful dance unfold before my eyes.

CHAPTER THREE: FORBIDDEN CLUB Jane's POV: I couldn't tell if I was going to puke or faint.
